steve_b_wales
This is the painting that Mike very kindly did for me of my Jack Russell bitch, Cas, who I had to have put to sleep last December. She was 16 years old. I put it in this frame, although it's not the best, and I will get a better frame in the near future. The photo is for reference, and the painting is a true likeness of my dog. I took the photo at an angle to avoid as much reflection as possible. Thank You once again, Mike.

Thunderbird
..... he is partial to Babycham He also likes a pint of draft Creme du Menthe, especially if you put a nice head on it. Virtual pint of same to anyone who gets the reference, (ducky). Seriously - amazing work Mike, I'm always awed at this kind of talent, as I can barely draw stick men. Fisherman Mike
Thanks for your kind comments... I've always been able to paint and draw from a very early age..I probably inherited from My Great Grandfather who was a War Artist and an illustrator in the early 20th century. One of my great passions is cycling around the Cotswold villages in the summer and Autumn and sketching the architectural niceties which abound there. In fact if the weather holds Im off to Painswick this weekend. Only too pleased that I've done Steve's beloved dog justice. I've also promised a prize of a painting of any British Bird to the winner of the PW fantasy league so its only early doors why not join and give it a go for a bit of a laugh.. I also successfully bred and showed, Consorts, Coronets, Lizards, Rollers and Waterslagers. ( im sure you will know what they are! ) Had a few linnets over the years but always wanted some Siberians but never got them.. I might go back to it one day. Cheers.
