Jega
Seems like a tremendous waste of perfectly salvageable materials ,when you consider that the replacement woodwork alone on a pretty average price range gun will set you back between £100 and £250. fortune
The written warning sign on the mudgaurd and the vehicle number look like English text ,so it's most likely an English spearking country. the collection is a bit of a mixed bag but most seem to be pumps and autos although there are a few rifles in there so it would likely be the USA. Some appear to have bent barrels and mag tubes. What a shame for all of that machinery to be treated like that. could be a weapons buy back or just when we scrapped five shot to three shot. What ever it is it is a shame. Edited September 7, 2014 by fortune

Rexcernui
Is that the fb thread where someone's mate has been charged with theft and asked whether he was going to lose his tickets?

kennym
I work in a steel works every now. & then the police bring guns to be melted down, looking at the background it seams that's is what's happening here. Before you ask it's always a very high security operation the police can't even be lured away with coffee & donuts .....
Rexcernui
With regards to the fb thread, I don't think it's the mate who has been charged I think it's the op. He says he has both sec 1 and 2 licences and owned up to the charges and has to go onto social media to see if he can keep his tickets. Seems odd to me. Sharpshooter.123
Exactly my thoughts hence my comment "his mate" and the fact he is defending him to a point of no rreturn.
figgy
Looking closely at the picture all the guns have had their barrels bent. Got to agree on the wood stocks and for ends they should all be saved, walnut is getting rarer. It used to come from France and Europe now it's mainly Turkey, the grade of walnut is not the same as years ago. Grade five now would not have made grade three a decade ago.
