stuy
Been trying to keep the recovery of my tendon surgery on track, but a interesting call off a farmer to tell me he has a few pigeon! On some stubble got me intrested ,worth a look he said so whilst I am waiting for the pigeon to turn up on the beans. whent to investigate the said field was about 40 acre and had a steady stream of birds from 2 flight lines. set up after watching for about 30 mins under a big oak the birds were crossing. Used 2 magnets and a flapper set up as 2 groups of birds and left gap between as a killing ground. started at 11pm the first 2 hours for 11 birds and then it went bananas! The birds came in nice groups of 2 and 3s making for some nice double opportunities, shot quite reasonably, considering my hand !! Seemed like ages picking up birds all over the place finished at 4.45pm with 161 pigeon and 2 crows and 1 magpie! Very happy indeed and dropped off a nice malt for the said farmer. motty
Top bag, considering you have a dodgy hand. A mate had a similar injury a few years ago. He will never completely recover.

pigeon controller
Great result in the circumstances, great intel from the Farmer and a brilliant result. Must have been difficult picking up and carrying the birds off the field

stuy
I am sure all will be well soon! But I do think that I will have some restricted movement in my middle finger, albeit only slightly but the consultant did say to expect some sort of limited movement, so will just keep up with the physio and see what happens! it could of been a lot worse. stuy
In the early part of the injury it did have a good side, that my wife used to have to bath me and wash me all over but now I can do it myself!

ShropshireSam
In the early part of the injury it did have a good side, that my wife used to have to bath me and wash me all over but now I can do it myself! Reminds me of that joke: Mother catches young lad playing with himself in the bath and tells him not to....he says "its mine and I'll wash it as fast as I like!"
