JDog
Thank you for posting this honest video. I am not entirely sure that the Hatsan actually fits you. By the way the crop was barley not wheat. Edited November 16, 2014 by JDog

NitroJoe
a very well put together video , very enjoyable to watch , stevo Thanks Steveo! Thank you for posting this honest video. I am not entirely sure that the Hatsan actually fits you. Thanks JDog, you may be right. I have had good success with it before but made the mistake of not use it for many months, then trying to shoot it like my O/U. I normally have my index finger parallel to the barrels, but stubbed my finger when pumping, early on in the day! good video, never mine about the misses, why only put 2 carts in i all way put 3 in,some times you can get 3 pigeons,i like my pumps i all ways use cyninder choke in mine more open the better for me. At the request of the chap who organised the day. I normally load 3 and wasn't convinced that the extra shot would make any difference to pigeons in the area. There was an occasion where I pulled the trigger on an empty chamber, which was frustrating (not that I was likely to hit it, going on the stats!) Dan.
Very good video! How are you finding the hatsan pump? Edited November 17, 2014 by Dan.
NitroJoe
Very good video! How are you finding the hatsan pump? Thanks Dan, I really rate it actually. It comes with a full choice of chokes, the pump mechanism is much smoother (less wobbly) than the Remington 870 and Mossberg 500's I've looked at previously. The polymer is a really good quality too. It loads any cartridge flawlessly, which was my main reason for buying a pump, and the recoil absorbing stock pads work an absolute treat! Only real niggle I've had, is the bolt and barrel occasional get stuck half way in the receiver when reassembling it after cleaning. No problem if fitted with an `assertive` push though. Plus it's nice and cheap, so I don't mind abusing it

NitroJoe
great video. if only there were more pigeons by me or the rabbits could fly I'm in Somerset too, not exactly a pigeon hot spot this year from what I've seen. Quite a few crows about now though
fenboy
Good video , I would have been really miffed if I was paying for a days pigeon shooting and was told only to load two cartridges.
