Dougy Posted January 13, 2015 Report Share Posted January 13, 2015 (edited) I had recently received an email from Mr Clive Ward asking why I gave him such a poor review; I gave a quite detailed account of my frustration and his lack of communication in my reply over an order I placed with Mr Ward quite some time ago. The problem was resolved in the end after receiving an email from Mr Ward and my money was returned. Mr Ward informed me today via email that he was unfortunately not in the best of health at the time of my order early last year and that was the reason for his lack of response. I am not that heartless and if I had have been informed or If I had of had some form of communication then maybe my review would not have been so poor. Mr Ward comments We have taken great steps last year to improve the situation and quality of service, including taking on more staff and investing quite heavily in the website that does now track stock and also does send progress e-mails to customers so they know what's happening with their orders. So I thought I would post this on here I will give Mr Ward the benefit of the doubt and I hope that, as he says, things have improved greatly. And maybe those folk that may have been put off by previous poor reviews may give Clive another chance, and if all is well then please pass on some fair comments. No answer to emails and unable to telephone him. Goods, when delivered, were excellent. I hope he has got himself sorted out. Good company apart from the poor PR. Order, wait, phone,email phone again and then speak to him over on nvforum and items turns up next day. I would also like to sincerely thank all of the other posters on this thread for their supportive and fair comments. Without going into detail in recent years service has suffered due to family illness and then my own personal illness. This is all now thankfully behind us. We have made huge improvements last year and are continuing to address any area we can improve be that product or service oriented. I'm humbled. Glad you have joined PW - EXPECT SOME FLACK - However some of us will support you product wise. Bought one of your first Ward-D-Vision NV add-ons and very pleased with it. Yes it could be much improved but at that price it was a good purchase. Does what it says on the box. Kills foxes out to 200 yards with my setup and that is all I wanted it to do. Numerous phone calls and e-mails with no response. I appreciate that personal issues may have caused these problems but I would not consider purchasing anything from Mr Ward again. ATB, Mitch whilst i have never had any dealings with mr ward( although i may be having some very shortly,will contact you clive)and having read just about every post/thread about him and his company,good and bad,i have also read the replies he has left,and it would seem to me that he has had several problems to deal with his products seem to be very good and reasonably priced,and as mentioned above i to have suffered with issues with companies before,but were resolved favourably,hopefully mr wards customer service is up to standard now and given the chance both he and his company can grow and prosper and continue to supply good quality nv products regards dave Edited January 17, 2015 by telf Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
