kitchrat
The pigeons are cooing and the jackdaws are looking down chimneys. As final proof of Spring, my Lonely Pigeon, who lost his mate to next door's cat 18 months ago, has come back to his perch in my tree with a mate!! Tears all round!! Cranfield
I have just come in from sitting out in the freezing cold all day thinking Winter has really arrived. Your pigeon and jackdaws are deluded.
timmytree
Spring is sprung, The grass is ris, I wonder where them birdies is? They say the birds is on the wing, But that's absurd! The wings is on the bird! It don't feel like spring here, log burner lit and a nice drop of Glenlivet Nadurra at 55% abv. Heaven!

Kes
Theres a pond in the garden and the mallard on it are clearly getting into mating moods ! There are primroses in the walls and Tawny owls looking for mr/mrs Right so I go along with 'sprung' - maybe. However, I'm sat by the fire and thinking about hot soup and a whisky chaser. Good to have the choice !

steve w
just got back from a two day shooting trip to Scotland daffs are up and the snow drops and blue bells are trying to flower ,and the rooks near me are making nests and doing some mating gestures which my wife noticed which looked like kissing very funny to watch .but I think a cold spell this week will put pay to all that .
