shaun4860
The lambo gives my thumbs up Really? I wasn't struck on it, Didn't like the back end shape of it, Don't think I shall be buying one, I did however like the new Honda NSX that they showed on the news bit. Will Poon
It looks better in real life, the footage on top gear doesn't do it justice.... There's your pressie gone that I was getting you from Dubai
Scully
Not a big fan of super cars to be honest (apart from the Bugatti Veyron) but I really liked that Lambo'; nicely understated, I thought, for a company that usually makes cars that you expect at any moment to transform into a robot. That Hammonds a game fellah; came a cropper twice and came up smiling. Enjoyed the prog'.

thepasty
I agree with hammond and clarkson, that lambo was a dissapointment, starting to look like any other super car made by the germans...uninspiring. I have taken myself off the waiting list! light hearted lads entertainment at its best. If I wanted to see how an Audi or BMW or any other bog standard car performed as said above I'd go test drive one... cant do that with a Zonda. Mungler
Indeed they should simulate more real life scenarios - get all the cars lined up side by side 'at the lights'. Or a test of fastest round the roundabout before spinning out. What every bloke wants to see is something like the lambo side by side with a C63, M5 and RS6 over a standing 1/4 and back to a halt (much like the A12 on a run into Town). ollie
I really like the show, but I thought the Xmas special was poor. Last night was really good though and I love the challenges they do. Great entertainment and for those who don't like it; turn it over to something else. Cosd
Wife's brother has that Lambo, it is incredible. I didn't watch Top Gear, so I don't know if they talked about the sport switch, it's like you have two cars with it on or off; It goes from being a really fast car, to stupidly fast. Browning 425 clay hunter
Just a heads up for tonight's top gear. BMW M4 and a tribute to land rover defender by Hammond. Should be a good watch and I know there's a lot of LR fans on here. ARB

felly100
So as I understand it,the Defender will be in production for sometime yet,but built abroad. I was in a 62 plate 90 today,I had to open the passenger door to find the window winder! I love the idea of them but I'll keep my Ranger. Kes
I stress this is just my opinion but the show is jaded and far too repetitious. Descriptions of the STIG are stereotypical and boring. The landy gig was simply carp - a separate engine in the rear and a modified winch. Perhaps I am being cynical but there does need to be fairly fundamental change and improvements. Jc believes he is JC, the hamster's lead is showing and James May looks like he has taken too many paracetamols. - unrefined tat.
Browning 425 clay hunter
I agree top gear has moved from petrol head audience to family/light entertainment but it's still better than most carp on TV. Fifth gear is better for a proper review on how a car really handles and performs whereas Clarkson judges a cars handling by how easyily he can powerslide it. Last weeks ambulance episode had me in stiches but this weeks was a bit drab. Top gear needs to poach tiff and Plato to do the serious tests as when they go head to head they have the ability to push cars to the limit. Plus I'm sure the stig is tiff,
