spandit
My Dunlop wellies fell apart within a year. I've been wearing Grubs since and no failure so far (must have had them a year and I wade through brambles in them on a regular basis) Well, I've had them about 18 months and they're ripped to pieces on brambles, so scrub that... buze
Bought a pair of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152026017583 a while back. To replace a pair of Dunlops that leaks and are too tight at the top anyway. Anyway, touht they'd be rubbish, but I was quite pleased with them! I more or less dunked them in dubin, and they are waterproof. Not sure I'd stay in the water all day, but they are actually quite nice, and look good too. So I bought another pair just in case. I'm not 100% sure they are 'real' leather, but they seem very well made, fit me (and my large calves), and I've been clambering in them for 6 months and 'they work'. I even had a little 'episode' where both my legs went straight thru waterlogged turf (like, up to the groin) and I just washed the boots (inside + out), put them in front of the fire, and wore them the next day! SPARKIE
I bought these two years ago there still going strong they have the odd war wound from barb wire but if they start to leak ill throw them and buy another pair for £30 you cannot go wrong. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BISON-NEOPRENE-WELLINGTON-MUCK-BOOT-/291309336443?var=&hash=item43d363b77b:m:mr8vsyZ8AlY0YmUzLFzhG3Q
butchdickason
I will have had my Aigle's 32 years next month, the only failure is one of the zips, they are still waterproof and because of the zip failure only used in the garden. They were the top of the range leather lined. The replacement for shooting are of course Aigle. Butch
gbmarli
http://mob.tfmsuperstore.co.uk/wellingtons-adult-country-estate-woodland-neoprene-lined-wellingtons-green-10-19930.html £40 for neoprene lined wellies has gotta be good value! I've had LCs for about 10 years, but will be trying these Woodlands next time. Edited March 28, 2016 by gbmarli

joe soapy
Just buy cheap wellies and chuck em when they start to leak. £200 for a pair of wellies is bloody ridiculous. Plus 1, Anything over a £10er is nuts If only could still get Nora boots Edited March 28, 2016 by joe soapy
impala59
Dunlop Protomaster full safety wellingtons in green £13.40 inc P&p. Very comfy. Cant go wrong. Even if they only last 12 (they last much longer) - you can buy a lot of them for the price of a pair by one of the "fashion" brands. + 1 for Dunlops good deals on-line too
greenergp
Aigle boots are still made in France, it says on the box and on the boot whereas most of the other "fancy" wellie boots are made in China and other colonial parts in the east
dodeer
I have had four pair of le Cham and slowly watched the quality drop away from them over the years, next will be Aigle or Arxxus, money is no option when it comes to my feet your one them all day! The Arxus boot is supposed to be very good. My nepoprene zip up LC are now dead after 6 years work. Also got a pair of Solognac which I find very good too. Salopian
I have had my Aigle iso Parcours about ten years , bought two pairs at a very good price from Cheshire Game Supplies, Sandon, Whitchurch. Second pair are still in the box unworn and not perished. First pair will be doing another season. DuBarry's are for females. NOT MEN. markm
I bought a pair of top of the range hunter balmorals 7 years ago, from John Norris for £99 (RRP £299) to start with I didn't like them, however they are still not cracked, waterproof, zips still going well, I put this down to using autoglym bumper care and waxing the Zips with a candle, but have seen their day due to the grips bring worn flat through shooting and dog walking. This weekend I bought another pair (new model) for £145 (RRP £299) I hope they last as long.

Andra
Have two pairs of Aigle parcours one is over ten years old (now staring to leak / breakdown but still walk the dog with them if it ain't chucking it down) the other is a couple of years old I cannot fault them. I have these on back order from John Norris and they are taking ages to deliver as they are waiting on them coming in from Hunter they were selling them for half the RRP so thought I would give them a bash am sure my newest Aigles will out live them. http://www.hunterboots.com/mens-tall-wellingtons/mens-balmoral-sovereign-neoprene-technical-zip-wellington-boots/green/1964 Edited March 29, 2016 by Andra
