Underdog
What a great weekend weather wise, had a great quiet walk in the autumn sun and enjoyed the changing colours. Not so many pheasants about this year but enough to keep me interested in visiting another day. Got a squirrel and a nice young rabbit and fancy frying it in bread crumbs. I got good crisp fast ignition, instant in fact. The rabbit was a good 30yds. U.

Underdog
Ooh I do like that gun, tell us a bit more about it?The gun is made by Pedersoli. It is their interpretation of the gun traded by the British to the north American Indian tribes in the 1700-1800's. This one is .629" bore (20g). I loaded it with an ounce plus of #6 and a little less powder in the same measure first. Actually, today in a moment of complete muppetry I rammed a wad down without powder! Fortunately I had my srew that fits on the rammer and was able to remove it and start over. U. Underdog
I just plastered the joints in beaten eggs. Then rolled the pieces in flour with tumeric, paprica, Cayenne pepper and dried mixed herbs. Added more beaten egg and then sprinkled bread crumbs on them. :-)
