the crowman
Most common "suggestion" today. And when I say suggestion I actually mean that she has been named that by several of the family! Edd Kept me up all night howling (first night away from mother) and has slept on my chest most of this evening. Little **** seems appropriate at the moment!! Put a hot water bottle in her basket should do the trick.

imissalot
Loads of good ideas guys. I am definitely going to try to stick to one syllable. One of the others from the litter was called DFOR. Might have to settle for meg although I not yet convinced. Edd D. For , dog lol

Gunman
Walking down by my local river the two most popular dogs name seem to be "Get down" and "Leave it" . "Come here" and "No" also seem quite common .

eddoakley
Well if the current name stick I won't be able to post on here about here as I have been severely reprimanded for my use of foul language and sent to sit in the naughty corner! Hahah. I really don't want to call her Meg but it does seem to be sticking. I reckon today has to be the last chance to change that. brett1985
she looks like a little heart melter mate. I'd be tempted to call her Flo (abbreviation for Florence) then you can use the full name when she's being naughty.

eddoakley
The mrs just saw the picture and instantly said "she's a daisy..." Make of that what you will... lol Nooooooo! Daisy was already suggested and met with swift and definite disapproval! I'm just stuck on Dog at the moment. On a more positive note she only woke me once in the night and only started shouting at 0630 this morning so no need for an alarm clock. This is my first dog!!! So never sure what I should be expecting of her but I certainly didn't expect her "large dog crate" to be half way across the room this morning! Fetching a ball at the first time of playing was a little surprising too as she brings it straight back. She's still a little reluctant to let go but does bring it to my hand which I guess is good. She seems to have a great temperament and was fine when faced with 3 excited kids yesterday. Can't wait to get her started now. Edd
secretagentmole
Ginger That is 666 squadron, they were fighter pilots. 617 was the precision bombing outfit.
