Duffryn
Cracking day at Powis Castle, the rain and wind made for challenging shooting. There were so many birds that I didn't have a chance to follow them all down so managed to shoot a couple more than it looks at first sight. That's it , video wise from me for this season. Hope you enjoy .... Edited January 29, 2016 by Duffryn
OJW
Brilliant as always. Rob is such a little Hero, loved the retrieves! Well shot, beautiful shoot, always wanted to get up there.
shoot and be safe
Wow, they were good A fantastic retrieve by Rob from the water, he serves you well You have convinced me to book a day there next season now. What a great way to end the season, thanks for taking the time to share with us All the best SABS
Mentalmac
Fantastic videos Duffryn, liked your one with the young lad in too. Powis Castle looks a great shoot! I was elated at seeing a pheasant come over me and I hit it (well a few and a couple of misses) however seeing them in this number would likely cause me to have a heart attack out of delight. swingit
Nice bag indeed. Rob told me he shot quite well?. I didn't tell him I had a spy in the ranks.

Duffryn
Nice bag indeed. Rob told me he shot quite well?. I didn't tell him I had a spy in the ranks. I was surprised, he did shoot well and on some very challenging birds, fair play to him he held his own on the day along with a group of some very experienced guns. Cranfield
An excellent video, that first drive was a very good one, with some cracking shooting. Its depressing that its now the end of the season, don't let it be so long before you post again, we miss your videos.

Duffryn
Thanks for the video. Have you had any pups by Rob yet? No , the Mrs wants a cat and I'm not allowed a pup until I give in. I've been warned that if any pups "arrive" its the end of my shooting, We have been at stale mate on this issue now for three years and Rob is not getting any younger An excellent video, that first drive was a very good one, with some cracking shooting. Duffryn
Sorry but i'd need video evidence. Locky is in front of me on the 2nd drive when I moved to the back gun position ( the near miss with the pheasant) and Rob was to his right. On the last drive Rob was three guns to my right and hit a very high fast bird. Apart from that your going to have to take my word and the size of the bag ! Duffryn
I know the perfect remedy for this problem ---------------------------------------- buy the Mrs a cat I cannot stand cats, I'm allergic to them and they hate me. It's my last day shooting tomorrow, this will give the balls to attack the subject again. The problem is with three young kids and shooting every Saturday of the season I'm not in a great bargaining position. Feb to April is Emma season where she can do what she wants but she doesn't take the P**s like I do. I've tried offering to reduce shooting by 50% but she knows that will only last till i have a pup. I'm stuck on how to resolve this and time is running out so any suggestions are welcome.

Big Al
Another fantastic clip. Birds like that, especially on the last shoot day of the season, should come with a health warning. The excitement could induce heart problems in some folk. Your videos have been missed on here this sseason but it has been great to share a few trips with you in January. I thoroughly enjoyed the quips from your young 'un. The cat dilemma makes me shudder. All the best with that one! My wife loves dogs as much as me. I'm a lucky man. alastair0903
Another great day there . How daft does a pigeon watch day at powis castle next season sound ? I have certainly been looking at a day there after watching these great videos .

I have certainly been looking at a day there after watching these great videos . That could be arranged if there was enough interest I think the minimum they do is 150 bird days, all Saturdays are taken though. Another fantastic clip. We are now having a cat, I can do what I want dog wise and no grief about shooting next season. A fair result I think....
