ditchman Posted May 10, 2016 Author Report Share Posted May 10, 2016 (edited) Right..................this is what ive used it for amongst other things....and what an old boys told me what it came from and was used for ...mainly HOLDING SMALL TAPS (tap & die) now i have used it for this purpose , and on small taps it works better than a tee bar.............but im still not convinced that is its sole purpose...... Engineers hand vice, possibly military? i have ex military stuff and that has the arrow mark on them ...but not this item.... i think ...if i remember ...the old boy who gave it to me was a tinsmith...by trade...i do have other clamps...but they were made by him and marked as such..
