Remember 9/11 the markets had far more turmoil and they stabilised and recovered. That's the nature of the beast markets go up markets go down world continues to turn.

+1

and financiers continue to profit from all of us.

Mea culpa. I quoted a figure from the FTSE 100 index and, as you can see, somebody posted a response including strings of asterisks. Thank goodness I didn't express an opinion of my own.

"But facts are chiels that winna ding"

He as got Gaul i will give him that, using all those asterisks. Maybe he is a cartton charecter asterisk the Gaul.

To those who didn't understand the first time round...

Brexit was always forecast/"scaremongered" to shaft us, shaft the EU and to a degree shaft the global economy (with some countries excepted).

To cite a list of indexes from countries we have shafted just as much as ourselves and use them to suggest we are not shafted is flawed reasoning.

It would be like shooting a hole in the liferaft then arguing with your fellow passengers that, relative to them, you're not sinking.

What exactly don't you understand about this ? Can't you accept that we all knew that (A) the "In" crowd would do this deliberately just to say "We told you so", (B) Some are making a lot of money out of this, therefore they'll try to keep it going, © Nothing really has changed financially, we still deal with other countries and they deal with us. So, materially just what has changed over the last six days?

Apparently this may have been his wife ?

Obviously not keen on that + the back stabbing from Gove to come out and has stepped aside.

Possibly also a relief after Cameron refused to initiate article 50, might let someone else take the flack then try again in the future.

It might be better for him in the long run. But I dispare at the candidates who have put themselves forward. They make Cameron look good. We are all ******
