mmamonster
Can anyone recommend me a large gun safe like the liberty type in england Thanks
buze
What's 'large'? From what I looked at, it's quite a bit cheaper to buy multiple, smaller ones and bolt them together. I got 2*7 guns like that. It's likely more secure as well...

Halfway through, I just pointed at the 8 gun and said I'd take a bunch of them.
JohnfromUK
I have a 15 gun by Clays Shooters Supplies; Had it many years and its plain, but very well made, heavy and strong. It has 2 separate standard Chubb BS approved locks. Always been complimented as a 'good strong type' on my various inspections
Kev1gun
Me as well, i managed to squeeze 2 X 11 gun cabinets under my stairs and then bolted together you can;t get them out without splitting them, plus with all the guns in them and the weight of the cabinets combined i think you would need at least 4 strong blokes. welshwarrior
I've sort a few clubs in the past 3 or 4 brattonsound st9+ that 11 guns each and a bulk buy deal can be had making it cheaper still.

figgy
Good call using two or three smaller safes, can put your finer rarely used guns in one save on cabinet marks and knocks and your everyday stuff in the other.

Yes, we use two safes, one for the everyday guns and the other for those that get less use. Edited November 3, 2016 by TIGHTCHOKE

Gordon R
I have a very similar one in my garage - holds the expensive spanners and angle grinders - the front is almost impenetrable - large locking lugs, anti drill plates, but attack it from the rear - different ball game. English
How about one of these? Was that in Cabela's in the US?
daveboy
If I was starting again I would buy something like this Chubb Data safe £500 (used) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Large-Chubb-2-Hour-Fire-Key-Document-Jewellery-Gun-Valuables-Shelf-Safe-120-DIS-/222296486237?hash=item33c1e7315d:g:YRIAAOSw8gVX7QD8&autorefresh=true
Dirty Harry
Was that in Cabela's in the US? Yes. My other lad thought it would be funny to try and close the door on him. Don't think I've ever moved to fast!!!
