Rewulf
that is insulting to the voting majority of america Lets not let democracy ,fair play and silly things like people wanting change ,get in the way of a good electorate bashing ,when it doesnt go the Liberals way. And that applies to both sides of the pond.
Adge Cutler
that is insulting to the voting majority of america "Those working-class white people, particularly ones without college education - men and women - deserted the party in droves. TIGHTCHOKE
I'm very glad our PrimeMinister had not dispareged Donald trump like so many others had. A few red faces at the top of some countries "ruling elites"!!!

Scully
You said they were thick..not me that's a bit insulting to the American voter imo. Isn't the term 'redneck' employed as a derogatory remark to suggest those of inbred low intelligence or intellect?
Gordon R
Scully - you read it the same way as me - in fact I think that was the intent. Not really worthy.

12gauge82
I know my own industry...its my JobSo do you include yourself in your assessment of the lazy UK building trade? or could it be that you are judging others by your own work ethic! I happen to know hundreds of guys in the building trade and have been involved in it myself in one capacity or another for on and off over 20years and have to say they are probably the hardest working group of people I have ever met, save the odd bad apple of course. Guss
Just like brexit the people spoke. We are sick of politicians in each other's pockets and lining them together. Trump will cut through the red tape and get stuff done.
Pugs
Perhaps this will open an UK\USA open market trade deal now that BREXIT has been won and Trump is the President of the USA, who knows, he kept going on about BREXIT! A UK recession would be bad for him I'd have thought so hopefully we'll be at the front of the queue for a trade deal

Adge Cutler
Lets hope so, that would be great for the UK, I can already imagine the EU faces..... Call me cynical but ( in my opinion ) He's a business man first and foremost and he will go wherever the money is and wherever that gives his own business empire maximum exposure. Vince Green
Isn't the term 'redneck' employed as a derogatory remark to suggest those of inbred low intelligence or intellect? Rednecks were originally Irish and Scottish workers who worked alongside the black slaves in the fields in the Southern States. To all intents and purposes they were slaves too only in their case they were enslaved by poor (or non existent) wages so they could never escape. Their working conditions were terrible. . So yes its a derogatory expression and in these PC days probably racist Edited November 9, 2016 by Vince Green
