terrior
Hello I'm looking for one possibly two scopes (new) to use on variuose rifles. I would love Swarovski, mainly for the quality of glass and clarity in low light but can't justify the price. So what makes stand out as real quality glass for realistic money (£400 -£600). Even better, a scale of really good to not as good. Thanks.
kyska
Meopta or Leopold.
Savhmr
Only one (new) at that price I can recommend is the Delta Titanium HD 2.5-15 x 56. Simply superb optics and easily comparable with optics at twice the price. Used Minox or IOR scope at that budget would also be good. Not convinced with minox scopes, have two shooting buddies who have sent them back due to condensation on the inside, excellent glass though. I'll stick to my idea of a meopta. Redgum
Nikon are worth a look, I have the monarch 4-14 x 50 s/f and its an excellent scope, very comparable with my leupolds, also like my Burris.
gibby
What are you using them for? Woodland? Rangy stuff? Trusted S&B 8x56 was always enough for me in the UK, dog **** in South Africa for plains game.

Novice
You will definitely be able to get a Swarovski, most likely a variable, for that budget.

Wingman
+1 for Schmidt and Bender I have owned most of the high end scopes and all my S&B have been faultless. Bought a nightforce once that fogged up after a few hundred rounds on my Blaser LRS2
