webster
I have thought about full length zips but almost everyone I have seen wearing them appear to have zips open due to failure

samboy
A Stanley knife will do it! I agree. I had to cut mine off with a pair of scissors. They were ok putting them on but murder getting them off so out came the scissors.
figgy
You will never get Aigles off warm or damp feet easily my non neoprene lines ones used to pull my knee joints apart and cause cramp in my hamstrings until I made a extra large boot jack out of 150x75 carbon steel channel iron that gripped round the full heel of the boot not just the back bit. The Aigles are designed to fit tight on your ankles for support. I now wear leather walking boots and gaiters. The tow bar can be used as a boot jack if needed when out. four-wheel-drive
Get your self some new boots with a full length zip I think that I would go with the ones that have long zips I gave up wearing wellies a long time ago as if I got a pair that fitted and was not sloppy I could not get the things off without getting covered with mud but I do quite like the idea of having zips in them probably need to keep the zips well washed to prevent them from binding though. CaptC
I had the same problem with Aigle neoprene wellies as they have a "bare" area around the ankle just where the boot is tightest. Used an old divers "trick" of using French chalk sprinkled liberally around but that built up into a nice mess - Then turned to a boot jack but, like webster I have dodgy knees and it was quite painful. Decided to sell them and I bought a pair of Harkila 12" boots on a certain auction site which are fantastic as they are insulated and protect down to - 25 degs C and are also 100% waterproof!
