lancer425
Dreamed of owning a Remington 1100, i saw one at a clay shoot, the Stamped Fleur De leys and thick shining lacquer contrasting with the Black Receiver and Barrel Looked Classy compared to my battered Model 12 Winchester. I eventualy got one when i saved up enough and i still have it now. Shame i do not have the Model 12.

Jonno243
A pair of Dickson Round Actions. I still hanker after them to this day. In my humble opinion there has never been a more beautiful gun...
Flashman
Always liked the Lee Enfield .303 - empire builder. Ditto the Webley Mk IV .455 They certainly didn't like it up 'em in two world wars
jam1e
was talking to a friend today about guns that you dreamed of owning when we were young .i can remember as a young child looking at my mums club books at air rifles and pistols ,and drooling over an air arms high powered jakal ,wishing i could get one, and pay it weekly with my paper round money .but was not allowed ,had to wait untill i was 16 to get my first rifle ,and got a theoben grand prix .never got the jakal .but never looked back ,and now have lots of guns to hand ,and 3 boys that dont seem that interested in it at all . My wish as a child was to own a BSA Meteor. My mates older brother had one, and when his brother went to work my mate would "borrow" it and we would take it out wrapped in a bin bag. We then used to shoot the debris that floated down the river Avon, just down the road from us. In those days dog walkers and other members of the public were not the slightest bit interested in a few young lands with an air rifle. Now though, it can be a Police armed response that comes down to you. The "gun" has been demonized gradually since then. Now they're seen as the devil, and all things evil! Really makes my **** itch!!! I did try to get my son involved, but he just wasn't into it. I was very disappointed, and envy all the father and son/daughter shooter "teams"

jam1e
I always drooled over the Relum Tornado in my mums Kays catalogue. I eventually managed to get my hands on the Air Arms Jackal through my aunt's Kays club book to! I always wanted the HW77K, but just couldn't afford it... I even went to a local gun shop at 18 and tried to buy it through their finance deal. I had no credit history then so it was declined.... I also bought a Lincoln under and over 12 bore from Kays Club Book!! My aunt just had to send off my SGC to them. Back then it was just a small piece of card with no photo!! It was about £200, and very basic. Non ejector, It was a fixed half and full choke, and a double trigger. I gave it to my father in law when i gave up shooting for a few years. Unfortunately he sold it... Edited August 7, 2017 by jam1e
