Eyefor
Right, I am sick of the Biased Broadcasting Company. This is the latest splurge of twaddle from this funded-by-us Corporation http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-39438982 and, yet again, the article is not open for comments. I'm not interested in someone's opinion - it's called "The News" not an opinion of "what if's"- so before I trash a near brand new TV where (if anywhere) does anyone know where can I just get "The News" please? Also, if that Richard Cranium Huw Edwards mentions "over to our correspondent in Brussels, Katya, Katya Adler". Then "Thanks Katya". Followed by "That was Katya, Katya Adler our Brussels correspondent" - why do I care? For every bloody correspondent introduced it's the same - 5 or 6 mentions of their name. Does Mr Edwards run an image promotion Company offering BBC correspondents to open church fetes in deepest Chipping Snodbury and the likes? Why do I care who it is - it's their bloody job? BBC now banned in our house before I break something. I am interested in hearing factual news - so where is best please? wandringstar
I accidentally listened today and mariella forstrup was being interviewed, within seconds I heard her say 'the potential catastrophe of brexit' and how 'we are going to miss Europe much more than they miss us' in response to mr tusk saying that they miss us already. Everything is left, left, left. Honestly, this organisation is demented, it feeds of the public purse and its high time the purse was closed, privatise it, break it up, there must be billions of pounds there for reinvesting into apprenticeships for the young. I have been watching amazon prime, I would rather my £145.50 went to this, I stream my radio in from the states, the bbc is not relevant anymore, like the royals.........but that's another story for another day........lol. fern01
I often wonder why we need all this BBC regional 'news' on both TV and radio Much of it is simply subtle promotion and advertising. God knows how much it all costs.

buze
http://uk.reuters.com/ ! Removed all the BBC around here a while back. Even the 'news' that looks like they are aiming for the Daily Wail column of shame format sometime soon.
Eyefor
Off button ? Just a thought. The off button works fine and is used frequently - but I'm still interested to hear / see the news. http://uk.reuters.com/ ! Removed all the BBC around here a while back. Even the 'news' that looks like they are aiming for the Daily Wail column of shame format sometime soon. I'll try this. First impressions are good. Thanks. Scully
The off button works fine and is used frequently - but I'm still interested to hear / see the news. I was interested for many years until I realised that all media news is biased towards that organisations political leanings. It is relatively easy to determine what is factual news and what is actual opinion or conjecture.
Walker570
It's all pretty fake news these days. Even the good old Telegraph is sliding. I mean why do we need to know every movement of all these boring 'lovies'. I don't have a problem with TV coverage ... Have not had one in the house for 30yrs

paulnix
Al Jezeera is ok for a more factual and less opinion based news.
