Okrang
Any punters out there with thoughts on the Grand National? I know it's all a bit of a lottery but these are my predictions: 1) Blaklion 2) Cause of Causes 3) The Last Samuri 4) Vicente 5) Vieux Lion Rouge If my success in last years race is anything to go by...............these are probably runners to avoid backing! Cheers, John.
MrPhantom
Just drew 'More of that' in the sweepstake at work. If you can believe what you read in the papers, it looks like having a fair chance
djrwood
I haven't even had a look yet, which is all the more awful as I am going there tomorrow. Will have an evening looking at the race card I think. Anyone have any inside tips on any of tomorrow's races and is anyone else on here going? inthedark
Cause of Causes look to have everything it takes, but the National is a shot in the dark (no pun intended) Edited April 7, 2017 by inthedark
besty57
I backed the last samurai last year .as far as I can remember it was second,so will have a small e/w on it hoping it goes 1 better.. amateur
We went to my wife's Uncle Arthur's funeral yesterday. At the wake his son suggested a little flutter on "One for Arthur", so I put a £20 each way bet on last night. Result

Red-dot
Thank God it was a Scottish horse that won or Nicola Sturgeon would have demanded a re-run.....
Proudly
I've never had a winner in the national. My dad arthur lost his battle with cancer last year so my choice was a no brainer. £2.50 each way got me £55, my son had Saint Are e/w which being only 5yrs old was over the moon winning £8. Could say he was watching over us but he hated gambling so would've kicked my **** if he knew 😂

kingo15
Dad and I managed 1st 4th and 5th. We did bet on 8 horses and if none of them had come in we would of lost some money. But always worth a eachway bet on the national as 5th brought us in as money as the winner Edited April 10, 2017 by kingo15
