With the cost of oil being so expensive would it not be worth reconditioning the engine I just got 4ltrs of oil cost me £47 and my one does drip oil.

it is reconditioned.....its just the nature of the beast.....to be quite frank i prefere it to use a bit of oil....then i know it is been lubed......CAT engines use about 1/2 pint a day....

i pay £23.00 for my pure mineral oil 4 litres........its 15w/40

Well i must be one of the lucky ones... had LR's since 1975 some dozen vehicles and always made it home and fixed and serviced them myself. My 10 year old Puma is now worth almost what it cost me new.

Parked next to exotica it's the one that gets all the attention and folk in the street actually smile as i pass.

......what part of my post above yours causes you to accuse me of being a drug taker? Dont you realise our FEO's read these forums? Please retract your insinuation please.

Do you not recognise humour.albeit that's why I put the laughing men.perhaps I was referring to those smiling at you to be the ones high on herbs.

Edit to add note to red dots fao. I don't know or have never met Mr red dot.i am in no way stating that he is a drug user.hope that helps you.

Not sure they would care much at a post that's a joke, and unless your name is Mr Red-Dot quite time consuming finding out who you are.
