Been going across to see daughter and now grand daughter for around ten years now never seen them closed. My old Dad called lunch someting you had at mid morning work break. Grandalf Posted December 13, 2017 Report Share Posted December 13, 2017 When I started school, way back in the second world war, in Berkshire we used to take a lunch packet with us to be eaten at 10am along with our gill of frozen milk. (Dumped outside at about 4 in the morning - straight from the local farm). The order was breakfast, lunch (as described above), dinner and tea. Supper rarely came around in those days. However on the odd occasion we've gone to Woodies for brekky there could be a case for doing the same in the morning. 07:00 they are there on pints and whiskey. Now that would be something, they would get my vote, there’s been talk of Mogg being promoted to the front benches and even the odd rumour of him being the next leader of the conservatives, very clever man and orator, not everyone’s cup of tea but I like him.
