harpoonlouis
I know this is a huge topic but I have acquired a 410 sxs with poor finish on the barrels but excellent condition otherwise. I think it is worth bring back up to spec and would like to blue the barrels. They were probably brown originally but most of the original finish is gone. Happy to do them at home or send away if I can get a strong recommendation from somebody.. thanks

kennett
And another huge recommendation from me, rescued a set of barrels that had I managed to get deer blood on and eaten right through to bare metal. Look brand new

Konor
I’ve had five sets of barrels blued by Bromley and Son including some cosmetic work dents raised etc fantastic job every time and well worth the money so as with the others they’d be my recommendation. Rob525
Im currently debating doing a set myself on an old gun. What is the rough cost of sending them off to be done if you dont mind? There are no dents just very little blueing!

Think its about £100 to have it done properly.

impala59
Just like to add another vote for Dan (barrelblacker) for quality work. I’ve done a few myself in various products and have been fairly happy with the results but Dan’s work really is top class
