WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CAR.

Recommended Posts

Golf seal engines were fitted to mo as t card when they had reached 60 to 70 thousand he engines were knackered and needed reconditioning. Swapped for a gold seal unit.

Had one or two in the late eighties that had gold seal engines fitted, usually British Leyland cars.

Couldn't list my car history, had 17 cars the first year I was driving. Bought three before I was 17.  Used to buy stolen recovered or lightly damaged and repair them, run them for a bit and sell on.

In the late eighties my insurance would have laughed at me if I'd tried to insure a mini 1275 GT. Cracking little car.

It was costing me 800 a year in 88 the year I passed my test. Same as I paid for most cars.
