I like the fact the women dont dive and make a fuss they just get on with it

There was a bit of time wasting towards the end, but just a little.

Great display, great team work.

Now France or USA??? It just got real, good luck girls.

I'd take USA. France are a bit of a bogey team for the Lionesses and it's their home world cup too. I wasn't blown away by the USA in the SheBelieves cup. We held them pretty comfortably for a 2-2 draw and won the tournament in the States. But we've got serious firepower going forward, so we'll take either!

Compared to the game with that bunch of thugs known as the Camerloonys this match was a breath of fresh air. Civilised play, only one yellow card, a ref actually in charge AND not once was the video used that I saw.

The result in England's favour a big bonus, despite the doom and gloom pundits.

Next.

Need to tighten up at the back, Bright's loss of concentration nearly cost us two goals, but Houghton's defending saved the day! A very good, open game the players were obviously enjoying it for the team spirit an a love of the game......now watch the money ruin it all!

Totally agree.

I know we had a penalty saved and hit the post etc, but we could have been 3-3 quite easily.

I think that a more clinical team would have taken those chances. We looked very static and naive at times at the back. Houghton was awesome but we were carved open at times.
