Gillette #MeToo

Gillette becoming political and getting involved in the #metoo campaign, criticising toxic masculinity, has really paid off.

After the campaign many were offended, leading to them boycotting the brand.

Just recently they were down valued by 8 BILLION.

Minus 8 BILLION!

Got to be the most expensive advertising campaign in history that!

Even madder, some nutcases are coming out saying how it was totally worth it ... I wonder if the heads of the company feel it was totally worth it? 🤷‍♂️😣

Lady shaving products are in the ascendency, maybe not so dumb. I bought some disposable razors in USA ten for 89c brilliant quality and they will last me a year. Gillette mens razors are so expensive now its off the scale. I dumped mine.

Maybe, the future is in shaving ladies bits?

So Gillette is no longer the best a man (Select correct gender neutral pronoun as applicable )can get.

Adverts were always manly men shaving and women stroking their face or children hugging their dad without stubble scratch.

Manly MEN !
Women fawning over them in a subservient fashion, MISOGYNY ! Oppressive gender stereotypes !
Have at them Gillette ! This toxic masculinity must end ! METOO#

Proctor and Gamble who own Gillette say its nothing to do with the ad, and the $8 bn write down is more to do with men err..not shaving as much..in the last 6 months..

I seem to remember, back when sex was safe and motor racing was dangerous, a few young ladies of my acquaintance who quite liked "manly" men. It was lecherous men they loathed.

Who'd choose to be a married, heterosexual, white male parent amidst all the bonkers values of today's culture of inclusive PC diversity.

p.s. Wearing a beard doesn't mean you're "manly." 😘

Quite, a few of the new gender neutral women sport them too.

How long before they can make babies with both sexes so as they get older they can decide what they want to be. First world problems are so serious. Don't want no hurt feelings.

Its tough , but the manly man that I am, powers  me through the  PC barbs that try to detract me from my path of toxic masculine righteousnous 😄

P.S. Im not married , my misogynistic ego , and voracious sexual appetite forbid such distractions.

I'd offer to let you have my MCP tie but I'm keeping it as I reckon it'll be worth a fortune when the pendulum swings back in favour of us cavemen types.

:good:I can virtually smell the testosterone from here

Testosterone's a bit lacking these days but after 46 years married to the same woman I have assume that those inter-sex, androgynous, moisturiser using, reconstructed, alleged male specimens aren't to every woman's taste. 😜

I think that's a pretty safe bet, and likewise the blue-haired placard-waving brigade of 'wimmin' (as Millie Tant would put it) are equally unattractive to males.

Meanwhile, the rest of the world just gets on with it... ;)
