Whilst I can sympathise with the cause , now really isn't the time.

By the same token , many greedy bosses have been making employees work whilst supposedly furloughed .

This covid business has really highlighted , the best , and the worst , of human nature.

However professional and statesman like Kier Starmer is................this will bury him in the poo pit...........it highlights the seperation there is twixt the momentum and labour .............

it will also confirm the beliefs of the labour populace that voted conservertive....that their desision was right...................momentum full well belive that kicking something when it is down is the correct thing to do.........it also confirms that the oganisation is scum and should be treated as a terrorist collective and be treated accordingly.......

I have said many times....to the hard left, “the end justifies the means”.......they prove this time and time again! It’s all about them getting into power!

just to add......................"with the help of the media.................................."

What a thoroughly silly article.   Rail unions called off planned strike action on the SWR due to the C-19 crisis .  Manual Cortes of the TSSA wrote to Grant Schapps on March 8th offering to help make plans to maintain transport links through the crisis.

‘We want to ensure our transport networks are resilient in the face of a possible epidemic and urgently need consistent advice and a pro-active plan of action for public transport.’

‘We welcome the government’s reassurance on sick pay for workers who are self-isolating, but we believe the transport network needs a much more detailed response to the virus given the crucial role it plays in the economy and society, and the potential to spread – or minimise the spread – of the virus.’

‘We are very happy to work with the government to make sure everything possible is done to protect people as they move around the country on public transport.’

‘It’s essential that Grant Shapps convenes this summit in the next few days so that experts across the industry can get a real grip of the situation. We must do all we can now to keep travel routes open – millions depend on us doing so.’

What a few people said in a open Zoom meeting is neither here nor there.   Strike action during C-19 is neither Labour policy nor any transport unions policy.

Another Union playing politics "Militant leaders of the National Education Union make it clear they will stop at nothing to prevent schools opening on June 1".  Quoted from this article; https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-8353209/ANDREW-PIERCE-Schools-union-rewrites-rules-impartiality.html

Its pretty obvious what their real motives are, they are not even sophisticated in their tactics.

Its easy to side step their obvious trap by saying schools CAN go back once they have all their plans in place. Then leave OFSTEAD to sweep up the ones that haven't
