I have a pretty large network of friends , relatives and business associates, and I dont know a single person who has had a positive test/been ill with it.
Let alone know anyone who has died from it.

I know or know of eleven people who have died from it

including my OH's  cousin, choked coughing up blood, it was horrific apparantly.

several former work collegues (from the company website)

two members of a rifle club I belong to

my mate who was in a care home after a non life threatening stroke

two former customers

my former next door neighbour from my old address, He never went anywhere except the paper shop at the end of the road.

plus another man, a near neighbour who had mild symptoms but suddenly collapsed and died before the ambulance got to him. recorded as ???

Blimey you are a right Jonah.

my network is quite large and distributed across the globe. Perhaps my associates are just lucky but I only know of three people who had it. One in the US and two in the U.K.  All recovered although the one in the US was worse than the other two. I don’t know anybody in Japan, HK, Singapore, Australia or India who has caught it.

We have to remember Sweden has a much smaller population spread over a very big land mass. It also doesn't have several international hub airports and the biggest financial capital in the world.

Aren't they also on the naughty-list for constantly lying about their violent crime statistics? If they're willing to lie about that, Covid wouldn't add any extra sleepless nights

Just seen on the news that it's not even in the top ten causes of death in the UK in the past month.

No consolation for the dead or long COVID sufferers but reinforces the view that the world economy has been tanked for questionable reasons (in the grand scheme of things).

More or less this. I’m in the at risk group ( just ) apparently, and although I don’t want the virus I’m hardly in hiding.
I intend to get on with my life as normally as restrictions will allow.
Im out beating tomorrow for the first time this season, and will be going to the pub for a few jars following.
