nature abhors a vacuum...............

I think nature has given up on vacuums.  If it was still true, post politicians would have no heads.

Incidentally, I think it may have been James Watt who is credited with that phrase?

It's a good start.

Smoke and mirrors.

IMO all held back 'til now so 2TK can have a moment to look like he's doing something.

Wouldn't trust him with round ended scissors!!

I agree but you don't eat an elephant in one bite.

Far better than spending £15m on running around like a headless chicken.

You won't eat it with one bite, but you won't if all you do is nibble it's tail once every other month

Mostly from Brazil but its the right direction.

The government is keen to trumpet its deportation credentials with figures published on Thursday revealing 8,308 enforced and voluntary returns between July and September 2024, a 16% increase on the same period last year. The majority – 6,247 – were voluntary returns, an increase of 12% on this category of returns during the same period in 2023.

It must take you hours to ferret out these morsels to bolster your delusion that this lot are even half competent.

Hello, One could hope the inclement weather now going through the winter months may put off the boats crossing the channel 🤔

Plans already afoot to send our rescue boats nearer the coast of departure?

Probably down to civil servants playing ball with the government as opposed to frustrating their every move to deport them.

Coupled with no labour MP'S protesting or sending letters to the home office.

I bet none of those that left were of the likes that are coming across the channel in boats. Those that left probably left because they can see what a mess this country is going to end up in with this bunch of ******* in charge.

Hello, Did you hear how many illegal persons crossed the Channel since Labour won the Election 🤔 🙄

That'll be none.  Starmer said he was going to smash the gangs, so none will have come.🤣
