old man Posted Wednesday at 07:00 Report Share Posted Wednesday at 07:00 I was personally aware of similar years ago but with 1 individual. I used to be lucky enough to regularly stalk fallow, the guy who gave me access had a container at the farm for his kit and quad. There was a persistent problem with a known yob and his 4 x 4. Cutting chains and going where he wanted in the small hours. The peelers were involved and gave him a couple of lectures that he ignored so the guy with access tried a personal visit to defuse the situation. End result, his family threatened, container and quad burned out. Never solved till the perpetrator moved away.

P S You might be able to put a link on about it . MM Was thinking why not get in touch with the local hunt sabatours, let them demonstrate and frighten all the illegal courses away. Two birds with one stone They interviewed the landowner on the news tonight and you could not imagine the damage they done , they had a grinder and they cut off every lock on the gates and even cut through the gates themselves , he had concrete slabs that a tractor can get over but cars cannot but that didn't stop them they just towed them or manhandled away from the track , he counted 13 motors and he said there could have been up to 70 people , when they went they left three motors behind on his land, his youngest daughter was only seven and was frightened when the cars kept going past there isolated house , he rang the police three times and no one turned up , what a nightmare . I would pay, but maybe packham could be coerced to rouse some of the millions of horrified animal lovers to act as vigilantes. Or BBC and countryphile could be persuaded to cover it that would get the government to act

Dougy Posted Thursday at 16:41 Report Share Posted Thursday at 16:41 I doubt this incident was hare coursing alone, had the farmer had previous with any of the travellers ? looks to be an organised revenge attack. What was the response from the police, assuming the farmer has since had a visit from the police.

Exactly, crime number over the phone and book closed on the crime. This country's bubbles going to burst the way its going. And all those in the ivory tower will scratch their heads thinking somethings been added to the drinking water of all the RIGHT wing population. Sorry to keep the thread off the OP’s topic, but to agree with the above, it’s very cold today and National Grid Live is currently showing a whole 14% contribution from renewable sources. Mad Miliband should be removed from his position immediately.
