  1. I,ve got a Ugartechea sxs 12 double trigger non-ej choked 1/4 & 3/4 you are welcome to borrow for a few months if you want but you would need to pick it up obviously-im in Bucks.
  2. Bin off work since 13th Dec after suffering blood poisoning-doc,s signed me off for 2 more weeks yet!!If it was,nt for the pigeons landing in the trees at the end of the garden and my airgun i would die of boredom.
  3. Why are we even giving them forum space?-theres no such thing as bad publicity and we,re just feeding the beach.
  4. Im guessing that any appliance must have a relevant safety certificate and make sure he gets a full inventory when people move in-most estate agents can do this for you.Insurance is a must and i think that there are advantages/disadvantages to renting furnished/unfurnished.Declaring any income would be a wise move.
  5. Pop your poorly Logun in the post to Red Beck airguns- herein lives Mr.Hogun the designer of your weapon-service should be about £70 and all will be well again.Which Logun is it?
  6. Could be a myriad of reasons-if you look in your yellow pages you will most likely find someone local who can run a diagnostic check for much less than your dealer-most garages have computers and internet access these days and can sort these things out and save you a fortune.
  7. There should be a drain hole somewhere that channels water to a "tank" near the motor-the heat from the motor evaporates the tiny amount produced. You might also check that the unit is sitting level-this sometimes makes things worse.
  8. I dont know if all docs are the same but mine will not support any applications regarding firearms-he will only answer direct questions in writing from the police and offer acces to my records if asked.
  9. Take it back where you bought it-the fact that it is 18 months old is not a factor unless they can prove beyond doubt that you have misstreated the gun in some way.I would try and agree that if they find the gun full of dirt then you will be liable for the service cost-but the gun would have to be returned to Hull Cartridge for an independant diagnosis. Before you lose faith in the gun you need to remind yourself that this is the ultimate gun from one of the finest makers in history-most likely something simple.
  10. Not sure but i think that if this goes down a legal route and the company find that you have released details of the case on a public forum-their legal team will eat you for breakfast-breach of confidentiality-libel e.t.c. If i were you i would consider removing any reference to the actual company concerned.Im on your side but please be carefull.
  11. Gone pending postage costs.
  12. Hi-i,ve got 2 jackets in good nick but cluttering up the cupboard so its time they left.1 DPM lightwieght jacket about L-XL and 1 Stearns waterproof Advantage Timber pattern jacket about XL-XXL-this one is made of some weird totally waterproof material.Free to anyone who posts that they want em-then p.m. me and theys yourn.Milton Keynes area.
  13. AA Field-Crossman premier-RWS superdomes-in that order.Wouldnt bother with much else.
  14. Dont panic-this is a common ailment of the S16-in fact the gun comes with 3 spare o-rings for that area when new.The designer and man to speak to is Jim Hogun who now works at Red Beck Farm Air Rifles (01924 862037)-but im fairly sure that this is an easy DIY job.If my tiny mind serves me right i think that the MK1 had the seal on the bottle itself whereas later versions had the seal in the action of the gun.Correct lubrication of the seal is most likely the name of the game-good luck and enjoy the gun-its a classic.(A service by the above company is around the £70 mark-could be a wise move.)
  15. The Duncan-if you find the place count me in-i,ll drive you bring the snacks.
  16. I agree that a head shot is more likely to stop the slug exiting-the last squirrel i shot had spent most of its life eating my Hazelnuts and every time i managed to grab the gun he did a dissapearing act (much to my sons amusement as he informed me once that whilst i was scanning the tree via the scope the squirrel was sitting on the fence next to me). When i finally managed to get a bead on him he was digging under the kids trampoline? and when i took aim i was shaking like a novice (leaning on a wall as well)-i snatched the shot while the bulk of him was in the crosshairs and thought that i,d missed as he ran off-however, sanity and temper were restored when he collapsed about 10 yards down the garden with a neat hole clean thru him.Revenge was sweet-like my flipping nuts i,ll bet.
  17. Hate to disagree about pellets staying in a squirrel-shot one in the back garden just over a month back and with an Air Arms S200 the pellet went straight thru the chest cavity and hit the fence panel behind-no more than 15 yard shot though.
  18. If you have economy7 it would be most economical to run it overnight-makes a big difference.
  19. Dont know if its of any help but there allways seems to be a few Logun lamps on Fleabay.
  20. I was diabetic (type one) for over 30 years-was never an issue with SGC or FAC-mine was also difficult to control.I suffered an attack whilst out shooting alone once and managed to make it to the side of a road where i passed out-i was picked up by the police (somebody saw me there and reported a possible suicide)and taken to hospital and simply collected my gun from the police several days later.

    BMW Drivers

We own a 96 reg 320i-she has never missed a beat-never failed to start and is still running on the original exhaust system-apart from a few rust spots starting to appear over the rear arches the paintwork is immaculate-only service cost is 5 litres of oil and a filter (£25 all in at our local thick fit)-current mileage is 180K-cant fault it.
  24. Slightly off topic but-our CCTV cameras at work have to be set up by the installing company who "blank out" parts of the viewing screen because the cameras look out onto a housing development-when you look closely at the houses (which you can zoom into if you want) the windows of the houses are totally out of focus-its obvious why but are home units supposed to do the same?-just wondered.
  25. Did you ever find out why the Robin was walking back to the car?
