  1. There's a free App called LEAF that you can put on your phone, it will identify just about any plant you are likely to encounter in the UK.
  2. At a guess, brown goes to the black connecter with the 2 reds in and blue goes to the black connecter with the 2 blacks, the earth with the red is going nowhere surely looks like your earth if the new fitting has one?
  3. Try a KOFS Sceptre 28g junior, more suitable and you can buy a walnut adult stock for around £70 so you can use it.
  4. I wonder if you could run Bullaces through a fruit press then simply add to spirits?
  5. Don't pay a single penny for my 11k acres, never would pay, I'm providing a service.
  6. I've often wondered if a slightly different approach might be beneficial. Permission would be sought but by invitation only i.e. the Landowner meets and checks your references, licence etc and then grants written permission on the basis that you only shoot when invited (for example when the owner sees his crops being attacked), maybe this would help A/ the farmer who is best placed to see his crops and has no concern about you wandering around with a gun whenever you fancy. B/ you get to shoot when the vermin are on the land. Might need a bit of tweaking but it might just get some perms? Just a thought.
  7. Never take out an extended warranty, your consumer rights protect you for up to 6 years.
  8. What better companion could a man ever ask for? Lay down now old fella, your work is done.
  9. Very well done indeed, making memories to treasure.
  10. Doesn't it all depend on who cooks the meal, pretty much like any foodstuff? I've had hundreds of bland Chicken Tikka Masala's then discovered a restaurant on the edge of MK that does it so well that you could dream of it.
  11. Seems a bit of a con tbh, it has a lower nutritional rating than the dry and you need to feed more of it, around another 100 grams/day.
  12. Spent £80 on the semi moist EDEN Wild Boar and Pheasant to see what mine think, one seems to like it but the other isn't over impressed, he actually seems to prefer Butchers cheapy stuff but being the farty one it's getting a bit Eggy indoors.
  13. In MK, if you shop around you can watch a film, get a Kebab, 2ltrs of White Lightning Cider (made with organic anti freeze), a bag of chips, a post card of DFS shopfront when the sale has ended and a night out with the man of your choice for around a tenner.
  14. Now there's about as much entertainment as you're likely to get (with your clothes on) for under a ton.
  15. Speak to your surgery, most use something like "Wellness" GP app, search Evergreen GP and you should find it, think you will have to speak to your surgery to get a password. You should then get complete access to your Medical history, any letters you have been sent and be able to re-order prescriptions etc etc.
  16. Why can we not just scan a copy of our medical record from our online GP History account? Within seconds I can see my history over the last 20+ years. I should be amazed that BASC have not challenged all this rubbish, but somehow I'm not.
  17. Can you think of a UK Company that isn't the same? Sometimes I wish I could get my hands on some of the people who must sit at home listening to the phone ringing with no intention of answering it, the DHSS are just as bad, 3 hours in total to get through, Llyods Bank - 2.5 hours and told had been put through to the wrong department, asked for and was given a direct dial number to ring 48 hours later, it took me through to another Bank not even connected with Lloyds.
  18. Essex cut price airguns will sell you a P15 for under £400 (the best price you will find anywhere, some are asking more second hand), this will give you enough money for a used Nikko Stirling or Hawke scope and a pump. The P15 is regulated, will put over 100 shots down range within a few fps of each other, weighs less than a tarts handbag, is dead easy to work on (the trigger is usually terrible but 5 minutes with a key and you're laughing) and matches my S510R for accuracy. Shame you're not local to me, I would lend you mine for a couple of weeks.
  19. That's £500?, in all honesty you could buy a used AA S410 kit for another £100, these are universally recognised as a quality gun that will give most rifles a good run for their money. Don't be in a rush, try as many as you can, also from the same stable is the TX200 and the Prosport, worth looking at if you don't want a tank/pump but both are heavy guns.
  20. On a lighter note, try the Aldi 400g thick cut Sirloin Steaks, just under £6 - I've had 3 in a row over the last 3 weeks that were all superb, a match for any Steak that that I have ever tried.
  21. Wise decision, 90% of electrical Gremlins can be attributed to not using the car enough, takes about 1 volt drop on the battery on the L322 before just about every warning light on the dash tries to convince you that the car is about to melt, new battery and back to new again, wonder how many dealers have "fixed" customers electrical fault by just replacing the battery. These cars are so easy to service yourself and save a fortune on running costs. Love mine, it's 16 years old and nothing I have ever driven comes close to a Rangie.
  22. It's just a cheap Gas Ram, for £200 I would look around for a decent standard break barrel gun, at the very least try one before you part with your money. If it was me I would be looking on Guntrader for a reasonable condition early HW35 or Original, even a BSA Mercury would be well in front on my wish list, way, way in front of any Gamo. Nothing in your local shops? Add another £100 and you can start looking at quality guns like the HW80,77 etc.
  23. I'm with old'un, doesn't look right to my eyes.
