You don't think Randy's tracks have been well and truly covered?

Burning one piece of BBQ Coal in a tin doesn't seem to cause any problems, you can do the same tin trick if you cook in a Wok/Pan with a lid, 10 minutes before your meal is cooked just stand the tin in the middle of your food and put the lid on. Helps if you put a few drips of water on the burning coal just as you are about to use it.

You can mimic smells by cleaning out something like a sardine tin, you can then buy wood chips for BBQ's that you soak in water then put a handful in the tin whilst cooking, you can also put a piece of BBQ coal lit on the stove and popped in the tin, hey-presto BBQ smelling food from your oven.

Essexcutpriceairguns are doing the snowpeak pp700 PCP Pistol for £100, approx 100 shots bang on the legal limit, stocks are £15 from the same supplier (so I have been informed but not checked myself) doubt that you will beat that for value, no sights on it but the pp700 s-a is just £30 more and comes with sights but these things are so accurate that you will need a red dot or scope.

Only way to find out is to have the bores measured, the Gunsmith that I use wouldn't even charge for such a service, it's no good just looking at it-it needs to be measured.

Nothing that cannot be sorted by a competent gunsmith, far too many historic guns are being scrapped because nobody is willing to spend a few quid on them, I assume there is a little side to side movement on the tubes when the gun is closed which would indicate that the gun has simply worn loose, it can be fixed relatively easily, as long as the barrels are not like a ploughed field inside the rest is fixable.

1875-1887, how do you know it's out of proof?

Agreed if you look at it in cold hard financial terms, but guns like this can give pleasure well beyond their actual monetary value, the men that built these are long gone, they used their manual skills to build guns that were the best you could buy in the world in real terms and worked during the heyday of the British gun making period. I have a couple of pre 1900 SxS's Hammer Guns that are, most likely virtually scrap in most modern eyes, buy I get far more pleasure dropping a pigeon with one than I do with my Miroku. Gun below cost me £150 around 5 years ago.

Are you going to buy the GI Joe Halloween outfit and get your head shaved like Action Man?

Became Ebrall bros in 1894 so your gun must pre date that, most likely a trade gun built in Brum and maybe supplied to order. Value depends on quality of the Damascus amongst other things such as wood grade etc. Is it NP? Pics of proof marks etc under the tubes should give more details.

Think Lidl are doing pizza stones that sit on your BBQ for about a tenner.

Prices are currently as high as they are ever likely to get, couldn't imagine a worse time to buy one.

There's a free App called LEAF that you can put on your phone, it will identify just about any plant you are likely to encounter in the UK.

At a guess, brown goes to the black connecter with the 2 reds in and blue goes to the black connecter with the 2 blacks, the earth with the red is going nowhere surely looks like your earth if the new fitting has one?

Try a KOFS Sceptre 28g junior, more suitable and you can buy a walnut adult stock for around £70 so you can use it.

I wonder if you could run Bullaces through a fruit press then simply add to spirits?

Are you running a book on it?

Don't pay a single penny for my 11k acres, never would pay, I'm providing a service.

I've often wondered if a slightly different approach might be beneficial. Permission would be sought but by invitation only i.e. the Landowner meets and checks your references, licence etc and then grants written permission on the basis that you only shoot when invited (for example when the owner sees his crops being attacked), maybe this would help A/ the farmer who is best placed to see his crops and has no concern about you wandering around with a gun whenever you fancy. B/ you get to shoot when the vermin are on the land. Might need a bit of tweaking but it might just get some perms? Just a thought.

Doesn't it all depend on who cooks the meal, pretty much like any foodstuff? I've had hundreds of bland Chicken Tikka Masala's then discovered a restaurant on the edge of MK that does it so well that you could dream of it.
