Well I use a 410 with my kids and those I teach commercially if they are too small for a 28 bore. Fit and balance are vital to get kids handling the gun correctly and hitting targets. Couple the above with correct target selection and they will be breaking targets and loving it.

It depends on what the issue is unbalanced hard to carry or to heavy. Rebalance with shortening fine and if done well will improve accuracy, to heavy a few inches of won’t make much difference, so trade in or rework the set up lighter mod, stock, scope, shorten etc.

Guns aren’t selling right now, a 13 3/4 isn’t to bad depending on the size of the pad you have on it. It could easily be adapted to suit a lady or child at that lop, issue being finding one. Lots of shops aren’t interested try a shop attached to a shooting school as they will have the knowledge to advice on fit and not just standard gear. Whilst working in gun shops I sold more guns by refusing to sell people guns unsuitable for their build, most huffed stomped out, went down the road bought what they ‘wanted’ came back to us PXed the wrong gun with us for something more suitable, then sent their friends.

With Brownings I always replace the striker, striker, return spring and the main spring when they start playing up. Quick simple cheap fix in 95% of cases.

my wife wears them on Hiax High Liability they work very well on them for her. The sole is very stiff and hard to fit them on but they stay on better than my altbergs
