  1. From experience it could be. 1,tiles cracked, not likely . 2,grout cracked, very likely .take out joints and grout again. 3,sealant join,as likely as 2 and could be 2 and 3.cut out with Stanley knife ALL silicone and dry area then apply new silicone. 4,waste out let,not likely or would of noticed before now. 5,enclosure /door,likely,as number 3. 6,fixings,likely,info and deal behind and refix. Have had all these over the years where bathrooms not fitted correctly or just lack of maintenance .
  2. I use a small set of diamond files on chainsaw and garden saws etc, always sharp.even did the old two man log saw.
  3. Found an old rusty gate hinge and thought I would have a go. The handle is oak and rosewood the brass spacers are flattened out of old shower tubing and the pins are screws cut down. Really was what ever I had laying about. Started a second one....

    Self employed

Have been self employed /sole trader for 20years and don't expect any help from the gov, what we will get will be to little to late for some and even then they will suffer later on pay back. A lot of small business will not be able to ride this one out,I can remember living week to week,it's going to sink the cash in hand guys,so may be a boom if we all live to see it,given skills shortage anyway. Gov.uk says we can still work and in people's houses ,how.....all the merchants have shut and I am not risking my or my families lives for money.just staying at home getting on with renovation improvements to the property ,when everyone was panicking buying I just ordered materials ready for isolation so I could get loads done. Already lost £50k contract and work has just evaporated, times will be hard especially once this gets a real hold in next few weeks, remaining alive is priority over money, looking after family is the only thing now, staying at home now and picking up what we can if we come out the side. I have friends and relations in the NHS and they have not got the correct ppe yet, some only now being measured for the masks at £15 a Pop lasts 4 hours compared to these wrap rounds that last 4minutes ???,so if you have the cheap masks 4 minutes and then vapour on mask then renders it useless and you can still be infected through your eyes ? Stay home, don't go out to meet corona and will never be able to follow you home.

    top gear

Always loved watching top gear, the tours were nothing short of brilliant viewing, as has been carried on with the grand tour. After multiple attempts top gear is now back to what it was, brilliant entertainment just like last of the summer wine, but with cars.......at last it's watchable again.

  10. True, any dispute with a neighbour should be disclosed in the legal pack when selling a house. My Daughter is a senior solicitor and head of conveyancing.
  11. I have a flir one attachment that fits on an old I phone 5 for work and this works really well for what I want, just for a laugh I tried it on some sheep 300yrds away and they looked like little cotton wool blobs. At 40 yrds I can tell the difference between my dogs.
  12. Think I have most types of double and triple ladders.Double is lighter than triple if you only need to get to gutter height but you will need long arms to extend, triple will be easier to get to height needed. Both will now have a bar on the bottom and you should use a stand off rather than rely on the guttering to hold. Get a large d rung, much safer and more comfortable to work on and box section. 1200 people a year die/have accident on ladders...…..
  13. Thanks for all replies. I have read a copy of the Field and it was a good read, although full of adverts for clothes I could not afford or want to,guns I would not take out a mortgage to buy and never use and as for the property. So I may be subscribing to the sporting shooter.
