its to stop dirty/stale water being syphoned back into the domestic water suppy
-
pal swears by ducksback, he's used it since it came out, so done the new kennel with it, it was tanalised but not waterproof, got a couple of dry days in December so sprayed the first coat on for speed, it repelled the rain, water was beading on the top, just brushed on the second coat, looks well, supposed to last 5 years we will see

bit of a EELL nut, mate had his EELL 20 bore, lovely little gun, fully refurbished at a gun smith local to him, that came back with the action and sideplates lacquered, looked an absolute mess, well the whole thing was a mess, the barrel blacking job looked like it had been done by an amateur, there was no trace of any of the jewelling, stock wasn't fantastic either what figgy said in post 2 is spot on
-
superb job, you should be pleased with that

I would require an anti backflow device fitted at the branch into the main supply, internal to protect from frost for your own protection all hose taps should be supplied via one
-
just did some extensive research as needed a new hose, ended up with ALDI online £9.99 + £2.99 del, I bought 2 to get the length, joined by a £1 Wilco coupling its manufactured by fitt, has this NTS anti kink thing, its better than the new yellow supa dupa hoselock ultimate my neighbour has that was mega bucks, I think the fittings are better as well, the coupling on the end the spray gun goes in, hasn't come off as yet, still does kink but the kink does come out and stays out

Help with Petrol Strimmers/Brush cutters decision
itchy trigger replied to SuperGoose75's topic in Off Topic
bought an Einhell brushcutter 7 or 8 years ago, has the handlebars, never have used the blade on it, not needed to, use 3.0mm line in it, nettles, brambles, long grass, (knee high) use it in the orchard as cannot get a mower in there and do the verge on the lane, starts easy, would buy another, even thinking about one of their self propelled mowers -
only ever used 1/4 in mine
-
take to an alloy wheel refurbisher, get them to powder coat it
-
was told a farmer up the lane had problems last year, no knowledge other than that
-
that is exactly why I use laser, you can just fire it up and of you go, doesn't matter how long it was since you last used it you know it will print, not like an ink jet. if I want colour printing quite happy to pay, especially for ink hungry photo's its a HL-1212W I got
-
just bought a replacement for my Oki that I've had for years, not worth having repaired as bought a Brother laser printer from argos for less than £50, was a half price offer, its wireless, small neat tucks out of the way and not heavy, plenty good enough printer for me, just had a look on the net and looked for the cheapest known brand
-
just for you

maybe a bit far but Simon Willmore at Doveridge did my DT11 and my EELL, superb jobs Tim Scott , in Acomb near Hexham, seen some of his work, excellent work, last time I was in there he was making a 20 bore over and under try gun stock for one of the big three

think?? it was the Four Tops at Wigan Casino, long, long time ago, young and eventually more inebriated best...Led Zep at the Hardrock when they was still good I never got to see Steve Marriott, he would top everyone

I recently got a kennel from these people, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/106-x-6-Pent-Dog-Kennel-with-Galvanised-Gate-Pressure-Treated-Wall-Claddings/323166503721?hash=item4b3e398329:g:y7MAAOSwP4ZZ2Kip lads that delivered and erected it were excellent, had the stable door option, panels are screwed together, everyone who has looked at it has said how good it is, I have given it one coat of ducks back up to now, will give it a couple more coats in the better weather. just had it put on a concrete slab where an old shed was, you should not need a soakaway if you take the dogs out, when I had my two springers I used to walk them first thing, 5am, before going to work, then again when I got home, 6pm, very, very seldom soiled in the kennel
-
already had tried it, doesn't work, not the first time for links posted on here, my post was just to say google worked fine for me so no need for anyone to get paranoid, yet

just googled sportsman warehouse, no problems at all, opened the sportsman gun centre page, I'm with EE owned by BT

Manchester River worst microplastic pollution
itchy trigger replied to Vince Green's topic in Off Topic
saw an interview on the TV with a guy from Manchester university, cannot remember what channel, staged and carefully phrased, cynic that I am, between the lines I had the impression that not many rivers, if any, are tested to that level for that kind of pollution, specially selected output for the masses? -
Which steel cartridges are you using ?
itchy trigger replied to AlexBee's topic in Bullets, Cartridges and Reloading
strange, why use steel other than to comply with the law, littering the countryside with plastic wads when you should be using fibre. -
Tony Blair and Sir John Major anti Brexit "alliance".
itchy trigger replied to Eyefor's topic in Off Topic
google Miranda, sorry meant Blair, lots of info, if your interested that is -
I was there, even dragged the mrs along, good day, great atmosphere, was good in the pub after before the long drag back home, even folk there from the highlands resplendent in kilts. shame the CA watered the support for hunting down, because that was the original reason for it

I thought the correct term was 'banding' when having your farmers attended to
