Many years ago? David.

Nice ground, not too expensive compared to many. I find the staff helpful, and no I haven't spent a fortune there. David.

Sorry this is mostly political. My wife worked her way up the system and sometimes worked 100 hours/week without any overtime at all. She is against the strike, seems that it is mostly political. The emails show this to be the case. David.

We had a Trojan truck with a P3 Perkins in it back in about 1959. It went all over the Kalahari. (I know just irrelevant ramblings but I thought I would annoy a few people) I was a child at the time. David.

A strong bungie threaded down the length of each side, so it was like one of these folding walking sticks? Probably cheap and non damaging to the coatings. David.

Woodcock and snipe shooting 2016/17

Hello Mark, looking forward to seeing you. I've got the beating kit polished (and the banter/insults) sorry you won't be there Terry. David -
CAV were noted for diesel fuel injection systems many moons ago. David.

Have you got a crime number. Important to ask for one as it then looks worse on their figures. No crime number then "it didn't happen" so they don't have to worry. David.

Yes, it isn't a charity! If they can't get that right, what else is wrong? David.

Always thought it was aim small, miss small. David.

Just surprised you bother to unload it!!!!!!!!!!!! Somebody could sneak up on you while you were busy. David.

Put an advert on here. "Beater available within x miles of Bournemouth own transport" or something like that and you might well find takers, also offering to help a local 'keeper might get you involved. David. -
Chris Packham/Grouse Shooting - Merged Threads
Kalahari replied to Savhmr's topic in General Shooting Matters
They aren't nesting at all on the RSPB moor. Are they shooting them all as according to the RSPB, that is the only reason they fail to raise young! David. -
Quite like the sound of the ones which fit in the back of a pickup. You seem to be able to leave them jacked up on the site and use the truck as a runabout and reserve your pitch. David.

If it is possible I think I would put Isuzu into the mix. Probably second after the Toyota in my opinion. Sorry if this only muddies the water. David.

Chris Packham/Grouse Shooting - Merged Threads

Brilliant defense of Grouse shooting. We can't afford not to support grouse shooting. If it goes we will be next. Think of that if of nothing else. David. -
Petition to stop threatening behaviour by anti's.

Done from elsewhere. David. -
Really wanted an Accutron when they first came out, but couldn't afford it. (I had a tax rebate and we all know if you don't buy something real with one of them they disappear) I got a mechanical one with a stop watch instead. David.

I remember the Shackleton, but it wasn't really a new design. 50,000 rivets flying in formation a guy I knew in the RAF called it. David.
-
I find it amazing that the next bomber design by that company was the Vulcan. What a jump in ability! David.
-
I am almost sure it wasn't issued by the Duke! David.

Was a great friend of the NSPCC as well. David.

Ask them nicely for the BMW specified run flats? David.

I thought that was pretty much what I said, in a sort of non confrontational manner. David.
