Can you not just wire a light from the fan? It may stay on whilst the fan is running if its on a timer but its only Brown feed and Blue return to Neg.

Not a Sparkie but I would run a twin and earth cable to where the new light fitting is and the switch. Brown wire from switch to new light and blue return from light to blue wires in connector. The single new light is just a basic circuit.
