  1. If there's no proof of ownership then surely anyone can lay claim to it. I have some deeds in my desk that need to be registered electronically, and apparently its a drawn out job according to a mate that's trying to do the same. What helps things along is, if anyone have the original mortgage agreement to prove some sort of paper trail.
  2. FR Leon Estate for me. No problems yet at 3 year old.
  3. I have used Brick cleaner before. The was recommended as a good choice. Never had any problems using it in a Peugeot HDI . Edit. Just been reading the question again. This is with the DPF removed, don't put this in your tank.
  4. I've recently picked one up. 3 nights on the trot and 1 rabbit Air rifle only and I can't get anywhere near them. Other shooters plus Foxes and Badgers are keeping them very wary. Yet during the day there's loads within reach and don't seem to mind the Golfers and Buggies.
  5. Can't recommend anything, only give some advice. I bought some fancy looking scope from a local auctions for about £30. It was half decent and cost well over £150 when new. 1st thing I found is you need different eyepieces off different magnifications, as those bright dots in the sky you can see by naked eye, are still bright dots when looking through the scope. Only thing I could see properly was the Moon and you need a filter for that. Its quite an eye opener as to how fast those Stars move when viewing with a scope. Plenty of advice on a dedicated Astronomy site as what is a good Telescope. As for mine it went back to a different auctions for a small profit. Done that and wont do it again and don't want a T shirt.
  6. No external leaks. I have been under the boards myself and had a look, all the pipework is nice and dry. Whatever is wrong is within the White cabinet. The reason for replacing is down to the property being rented out and I dont want any agro about no hot water. Edit the experts included the Valiant service guys.
  7. We had one of those where I worked 35 years back. Vaguely remember using it on some Perkins engines. Defo recognize the bits you are using. Great demo.
  8. Good luck fella. My old dears Valiant had 8 years of constantly dropping pressure. All the Experts could not sort it out. No external leaks but it had a few blow off pressure valves and a small heat exchanger plus the diaphragm replaced. Sorted now though, a Worcester Bosch is being fitted on Thursday.
  9. Does that include the service charge or is that really taking the mick?.

    Forum idea

A thumbs up is good enough. I never use the like button on other forums as I aint that insecure. Or just anti social. A better idea would be able to read the post just by hovering the mouse pointer over the title.
  11. The guy being the Rifle rest might get a return shot up his rusty bullet hole
  12. Had quite a few of them Pumps in bits years ago. They where fitted to gang mowers along with similar looking Motors.
  13. Had a quick look at the link. I dont use any of the high profile lenders that are advertised. There rates don't seem that great and if you're taking a bit of a chance then it might as well be worth it. I made my decision after reading Money savings expert web site. Previously the Banks gave a better return and it was worth bouncing 1K around a few to get a good interest rate. IE Santander would give you 3% on 60K for a couple. LLoyds, TSB and possibly some others give a better Safe return on a couple of grand so that might swallow up the 10K. Never had Premium bonds myself but the Wife has about 20K and gets the odd £25 win out of it. The op could always split his money around the various institutions.
  14. If it was mine it would definitely go into Peer to Peer. I am getting between 10/12% on 25K. Not saying which one I use but its never had any defaults from loans and its FSA approved. Just keep on reinvesting the interest/completed loans and it soon starts adding up.
  15. Booked for the 5th April. Should have some fun telling them to do one. Theres one thing they wont be able to bull**** me over having a Nest or needing xyz for better performance as its only an empty rental place at the mo. Better get some floorboards down incase he disappears and ends up in the Kitchen
  16. Yes I know its only a day job. I should do it myself and just get someone to Gas it up. My lads just had British gas do his. He wont tell me how much but a Major job involving scaffolding and converting from 2 boilers to a WB combi. Recons they have an offer on at the mo of £400 off so might be worth a quote if only just to see how far off the mark the other guys are. I am just going to organise a visit myself now.

    DVD help

As above, the crappy ones from ASDA will play anything.
  18. My Van is doing the same. It wont lock using the fob but unlocks fine. Luckily there's a switch inside that locks the doors and I can use the key in the drivers door. They must be crappy remotes on 08 Vauxhalls.
  19. I had a quote yesterday for a straight swop. 2K for a Boiler only., Boiler 1k, fitting 1k. That was to get rid of a rubbish Valiant and replace with a WB in a Terraced house.
  20. Going back to adjusting the Diopter. My Mamba is 3 turns out for Day use, but on the Night vision setup it is wound all the way out . Thats what works for my old eyes.
  21. Dark red for me. On the idea that animals dont see Red light. (not sure it works though)
  22. Our Council has marked all Mature trees so it easier to identify, and if they ever get lost they can be returned without any stress.
  23. Stay away from Harrogate. There's nothing to see here, please move on.
  24. Signed. We should have another one for the Daughter of the Sheriff of Nottingham.
  25. Rain alarm and XC weather. Very rarely wrong.
