I had a name for my last landrover *#@#%* pile of *@#% . I need to have two hearing aids due to my earlier life stupidity of not wearing ear protection either at work or when shooting , eventually at around the fifty year mark I had to get hearing aids . Free digital behind the ear type I could only ever wear one , if I had the two in made everything sound like I had my head in a metal bucket which after a short while drives you mad. The vanity thing about wearing aids soon wears off when you realise without them your deaf !! Two years ago I bit the bullet and bought the latest highest spec model I could find , yes it was expensive, yes they had a good profit of me BUT the difference was stunning , walking out of the shop was like an explosion of sound , I can wear the two with no problem and the difference between a decent digital aid free on the nhs and one you pay for is as huge as the cost .. With a sixty percent loss of hearing these hearing aids are a lifeline ...WEAR HEARING PROTECTION IT WILL SAVE YOU MONEY AND YOUR HEARING ...

With the rents and rates the shops are paying what chance have they against the web ...there doomed .twenty years time high streets will be nothing but charity shops ..............oh wait a minute !

Was it male or female ? Male it could well be that someone has taken the head and feet of while gralloching and perfectly legal , females aren't yet in season so it would be poached , shot or coursed ...

I always in cases like this try to come down on the side of the gun owner , looking through the press hysteria and hype but sometimes you just can't offer up any sort of sensible defence , the man is a doughnut !! .. section 5 ..what can you offer up as a plausible explanation ..there is none ..he was lucky to get just a three stretch ..

Got stuck under mine for nearly an hour after it fell back of the van as I loaded it , with two fallow tied on the back I couldn't push it of my leg , couldn't untie the rope , couldn't reach the knives in the front box and the phone was in the van ..wasn't until I put my hands in my pocket to warm them up I felt the tiny opinel my mates grandson found and gave me because his mum didn't want him to have a knife ..sharp enough to cut the rope and let the deer fall off I got out with just a scratches and a huge bruise... Learnt a couple of lessons ..get a proper set of ramps . . .don't drive up into the van in two wheel drive .. ...don't drive up loaded ...keep a knife in my pocket at all times . Couldn't actually get by without mine ..I'm just a tad more careful

Didn't the bullets match in the end , both were the 6.5 x 52 fired from above and behind , the first hit high back and exited his throats the second hit high right on the head which was the round that killed him ..if I'm correct it was the .226 gr military issued copper jacket bullet ..someone may know better ..

Look excellent , proper country colour and that desk is the dogs !! ....had one very similar that I stupidly sold when I bought my barn and had nowhere to store it while I did the conversion , now I want one I can't find one to fit ..mind it does get me out to a few auctions where I buy all manor of old kit most of which I don't really need which my wife does mention from time to time ..
