  1. shot my first pigeon with one , as I crept closer to him sitting in the tree being in stealth mode , closer and closer my heart started pounding , then BANG he fell I don't know who was more surprised him or me, that was in the early sixties .
  2. just bought 4 slabs of gamebore sub 30g 5's they work o k for me had some cracking shots with them through the 20 b mossy pump full choke , just had to tape some hard foam to the stock to adjust the angle of the can otherwise you end up shooting underneath , well that's my theory , but it works for me.
  3. clay grounds is all I use , all sizes , but I only pick the one's that I know that crimp well , I pick 70 mm for all my reloading for pigeon .
  4. use to shoot them in my webley and scott bolt action in the 60's, did the job o k.

  6. Conrad was a nice man , I bought a used miroku skeet gun off him in 1973 I could not afford it in one go so he said pay what you can when you can it was great to pick it up on the final payment, it was an hsw for £375 last time I seen him was at Weston park about 3 years ago.

  13. most of my eley 3inch magnums look like that once fired, nothing to worry about I shouldn't think ,you might get the odd one that looks like that one .
  14. if you are looking for an auto , look no further , I would buy it , but have the wetlands version mine's a keeper, well worth the money, good luck with the sale.

  16. so that's what a blue carpet looks like , you certainly haven't lost your form pc , it just shows the amount of pigeons out there , that bit of lockdown must have give them time to regroup well done all.
  17. it's always a suck it and see situation sometimes , you always try to cut them off at the pass , thinking this should do it , only to find they have been watching every move you make . it's like a pigeon type chessboard, still you made the effort , and got a result , well done.
  18. you are shooting well, but that third shot would come in handy , could you borrow an auto maybe and give it a try ,otherwise another good vid , keep em coming , well done.
  19. I noticed your block type hide didn't put the birds off, I do try and use a v pattern if possible , but hey If it works it works , well done.
  20. maybe I might say that, once I have got through 6000 grand italia plus 1000 hulls sporting plus 1000 of this , and 1000 of that , so you see i'm ok for the moment.
  21. premier guns have them doveridge shooting ground, mine came with I/c /mod/ and full , look them up , have a chat if you need anything , I use the mod on the pigeon.
