I have an el chimbo sxs .410 hammer and it's great to use.Don't find any drawbacks at all with the hammers.

How did you manage to break it? Just curious that's all.

Hell that sounds tempting.Used to shoot for a club until it folded. That's years ago though.

What a lovely gun and provenance. I bet there's a few stories to tell if only it could talk.It was such a different world when it was bought. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Brilliant stuff.

Not going off topic.Went to a local butchers today and they had frozen dressed partridges (frenchmen)for £5.99 per bird.Needless to say I didn't buy one.

Thanks all you may just have a point. As I said it's not used much, my son uses it occasionally . Maybe I have never noticed as my over and unders stay to the right when open.

This gun doesn't get used very much. It's a side by side non ejector. When the gun is opened the top lever returns to the central position.every thing works as it should. (Apart from this) when the gun is closed the top lever is over to the right of centre so it's not worn.I only noticed it whilst cleaning all the guns the other day. It's not been fired for a while so cannot fathom it out. Any ideas guys?

If I was nearer I'd snap your hand off.Cannot seem to get any on the Fylde coast.Used to take all the unwanted stuff before our syndicate disbanded.Really miss it.
-
If anyone on the fylde coast has a brace or two I would willingly buy them from the shoot.Since our syndicate disbanded I miss having them.No local butchers seem to have them.
