  1. Yes I have a very similar machine I use for my back I have multiple slipped discs and currently awaiting a operation I find this helps massively with the sciatica and the back pain also lying in your back in bed lift your legs alternately up straight and hold with your hand if you cannot do this yourself get someone to help imagine bending over and touching your toes without bending your knees this work’s fantastic for relieving sciatica hope this helps
  2. Great topic my dad made the Luger and the Walter when I was younger they were superb models with working parts load able magazines with plastic bullets and with Woking slide and toggle mechanisms and I have found the box to the Luger still has the instructions in brings back some great memories
  3. Hi could you just not hire a cherry picker if you have the room much safer
  4. Hi I have both types and I prefer the notched one less fiddly and quicker to level but there both good bipods
  5. Just use a piece of chopped dry log 18inches by 18inches preferably oak and change point of aim as it wears. It stops my 243 no problem. You can staple a target to it easy peasy.
  6. Hi misser when we sell wheat and barley to meet specs of grain merchants it has to be below 15.5% moisture, in my experience grain dose not store well after 17% unless you regularly blow air through it. If dry it will store perfectly in a sealed container I have had some barley in a container for nearly two years up at a inaccessible flight pond the other thing you will have to watch for is weevils and corn mites they will create heat as they breed causing to corn to heat tremendously and spoiling it.Keeping the corn as cold as possible out of the sunlight will help control bugs they can’t breed below 12 degrees if memory’s correct
  7. Oh yes many hours of fun
  8. I would agree with cosmicblue l would be very vary if buying a house at the present time, l would advise him to rent for 6 to 12 months and then buy. when the furlough scheme has ended there will be a substantial increase in unemployment and subsequently repossessions of houses, then you will see how the property market responds.I could see house prices dropping by quite a lot.Your son is in a very good position I would just be patient for the time being
  9. This deer was found dead on the side of the road by my daughter so is missing parts of the nose still it looks great on her wall I always used a saw to cut skulls but now use a 4” grinder with a ultra thin metal disc super accurate cuts but wear a mask bone dust is god awful stuff
  10. This is how I like to mount deer heads there are other cuts you can use it’s down to personal preference hope this is of some use

Hi I would like to do this Mr Walker I don’t shoot the 410 much but it would be a lot of fun, on a personal note reading between the lines I think you were the very kind chap that donated a days shooting on a basc young shots day at Wedgenock shooting ground that my eldest son won we still have a picture of the two of you on the dresser at your shoot in Hereford and it would be great to see you
  17. I use a mosquito net that I got from ikea came with the hoops attached it was only about £15 had it 6 or so years now fantastic bit of kit also collects the ticks well
  18. Morning dad cheapest way to go is to shoot at a pattern plate to see were the gun is actually shooting then rectify bad habits with a good instructor or if gun doesn’t fit properly do as salting says get the gun fitted you won’t regret it ps it pays to shoot at a pattern plate quite regularly
  19. Hi can you not ring up a couple of local suppliers and ask for a price for 1000 l or 2000 l of lpg don’t mention you have no tank yet .we do this all the time for kerosene and diesel it will give you a good idea of price at the moment but it will change daily

  21. Had a disco 3 loverly comfortable car not bad on fuel but if you use it off-road prepare for some hefty bills if the electric hand brake gets mud in it it will strip the gearing £800 each time had two fitted and gave up using it off road also air suspension pump failed £££ but the reason i got shot if it was of the corrosion underneath Land Rover specialist told me to get rid of it any welding and the whole body has to taken of because of the wiring loom ps sold it for a shogun bit more agricultural but so far no problems
  22. Shot this one this last year not as nice as moongesse though
  23. I have used loads of different meathods over the years traps tracking powders baits and they all work to a degree ,when feeding bait if you can find the holes that is the best place to start put a small amount in each hole you can get to and keep feeding the holes as it is eaten making sure non targeted species can’t get access one other big point if the chicken food has maize in it this is the antidote to rat poison so you will just be feeding the rats use as many methods you can starting with the traps then move on to first generation baits then if they don’t work go to the current poisons there is also a single feed poison brodifacoumb but I doubt you will be able to get it without a ticket hope this helps
  24. Hi I didn’t weigh it but it would have been about 2 lb and was caught in a private lake
