  1. I used to be a car mechanic and I would say change it when it's due. Same as all things wear and tear it will wear and perish over time. I've lifted out engines using a can belt they are tough as ****, but they have a shelf life. Look at tyres, they may have loads of tread and little use but after a number of years they'll crack and go crispy, i see no reason why rubber in a cambelt won't either. They normally go on start up and when pulling away from a standing start. Bit of useless info for you
  2. As long as it's a solid wall and not some flimsy plaster board $hit that'll be fine. Mine is in a bedroom wardrobe and in my opinion it's a perfect location, you wouldn't know it was there. Don't cut corners and don't keep it in a gun sleeve!!! Don't see getting your cert as a right see it as a privilege, that'll help keep it
  3. Fair play, you have balls posting this as we all like to think we're super safe and it could never happen to us. Glad you get to keep your toes and good luck with a speed recovery
  4. Nice post, I'm only 35 so this time was well before mine, But I think you may have answered your own question. There probably wasn't any more pigeons numbers wise, but due the inefficient farm machinary you mention grain being spilled/dropped may have attracted more pigeons to the fields. Sounds like a great time, but I'm also having a great time now

    Booze ?

Just been to the local micro brewery and picked up 4 pints of Merry Ale At 6.5% it's gonna be a lovely fuzzy evening Edit: http://kingbeer.co.uk/beers/beers-available/merry-ale/
  6. Any of you guys tried a Chiropractor? Might help reduce/eliminate the number of meds you take?
  7. Mine's arrived today. Really impressed with patch and delivery time Will be taking pride of place on my shooting jacket
  8. This sounds ridiculous. ARV officers are for spontanious firearms incidents, not checking security and if someone is suitable to own a firearm. This will not work.
  9. That made me cry with laughter, it's amazing! Edit: I've just made the mistake of youtubing Fenton. There's tons!!!
  10. That made me laugh, I start crying everytime the wind blows my chilli plants over
  11. I've just downloading a load. Favourite so far is the flamethrower one with an old WW2 vet that had won the congressional medal of honour, great show!
  12. The wild west! Whisky, gunfights, whores. Awesome!
  13. It's a great idea, I like my chillies and hot food but after seeing the youtube videos I'll steer clear of these ghost chillies. The end result is the same in every video, a look of disbelief and extreme pain haha.
  14. I'd like to see a serious alternative. Something like electrical that will bring the fuel companies to it's knees. I've changed to a 206 1.4 HDI due to the cost of fuel. It's an absolute joke but people will just keep paying for it because we have no real choice.
  15. That's ridiculous. How can the OP learn without first killing a deer? What he's doing here is showing respect in my book.
  16. You can't make a silk purse out of a pigs ear While negotiating peace prepare for war
  17. +1 If all you require at this time is insurance and money is tight then this is the way to go. There's no reason you can't join an 'organisation' when you're a bit more flush.
  18. Neither have I, I brew all grain and pick up the grain, hops and yeast I need from a local micro brewery.
  19. I sold a VR6 and bought an Almera GTI. I've now sold that and bought a 206 1.4 HDI, fuel is a joke in this country. This car costs £30 a year to tax and does lots to the gallon. Not exciting but had to be done!
  20. This is why I make my own, not including water and electric which is minimal the ingredients for 40 pints costs less than a fiver. The way forward if you live down south
