Billy.
A first for me. I'd never been ferreting and I had a great day. I didn't get that many photos of the actual action, as I was actually trying to get stuck into setting all the nets etc. One dig needed, one bunny recovered and a 3 foot hole. (I wasn't planning on digging on my first day :o ) A huge thanks to the guys for their help and advice. I can't remember the exact bag size, but I think it was around a dozen. If any of you want the high quality pics of these, just PM me your email and I'll send them over. (You'll need a good broadband connection) Oh and if you don't spot it, have a look at the sequece of three shots of GB and his dog, with the pelt man doing his flies up in the background, ruining a great photo...! :o :o (I can remove him if you like the pic GB) Cheers lads Edited January 11, 2010 by harfordwmj

Stealth Stalker
Cracking pics mate And as for the digging! I do believe it was me that dug 3 foot only for Pelty to butt in & steel the glory of pulling out the rabbit, then letting another that was stuck up in the stop end escape SS

Which almost looks like a hop, step, jump of the pelt man doing his flies up...! Hence why there's 3 almost identical images.
Dunkield
As has been said looked like a great day out, they are great pictures, unless anyone wants to wallpaper their lounge I can't see why they would want them larger Finally the bar has been raised just above the 'Essex Driven day pictures'

I'll have you all know, SS had just dug down 3 feet looking for the laid up ferret when he asked for a prob to push down through the hard ground to locate the tunnel. Hence me getting out my 4 foot prob SS At least when i pull a Rabbit out a stop end i pass it to someone to dispatch unlike you who places the live Rabbit on the ground and lets it run away PELTMAN Edited January 12, 2010 by the pelt man

garyb
meeehhhh My contribution, as sporting agent - was simply to supply the land and rabbits for the mornings sport. I had cars to fix, dogs to walk etc - so only popped over when I had a chance

Billy.
Sorry to dig up an old topic. Just got an email to say that the following picture came third in a 'Pet Portrait' Competition on Flickr. Rather chuffed, as I never seem to get placed on anything Edited December 27, 2010 by Billy.
