Poo indentification

I have a few Poo's on my front lawn - it isn't dog or cat -- it's black and about size of standard thumb and hard - just one piece.

 

Anyone have any idea's ?? - I live on edge of village so close to fields etc.

If you stick your finger in it ay dab it on the tip of your tongue and it tastes of blood then start saying a few prayers as it is quite likely a Werewolf!

Are you sure its poo?

 

Try drawing on piece of A4 paper with it. If the resulting image is satisfactory it could be a child's discarded crayon. Conversely if the drawing looks like **** then its most likely a poo as you first suspected.

Is it under a tree or near a post?

 

If so it could be barn owl pellets.

 

Can you see bones and fur in it?

Thanks for the enlightening replies - dog poo is big and smelly - cat poo is same if not buried - not under a tree but on open lawn - I did cut grass other day but raised cut so will get a picture - did have curry other day but don't think it was miss's.

cats dig a hole to poo and cover it, dogs dont of course, fox poo (scat) has a very strong acrid smell like them, and its normal for it to be black and quite soft.

It's definitely a gay hedgehog,notice that the jobby has a dent in the leading end !! Also note that that the trailing end is pointed so the hedgehog's bum didn't shut with a 'clang' !!
