docholiday
Well yesterday spent the whole day in a hide by a lake and was having a good day with a few birds putting in appearances, coffee and a few sandwiches, just enjoying being out there, when this little fellow put in an appearance. well the colours were out of this world and it was fascinating to watch him fishing and flitting about, almost forgot to take the pictures, struggled to get the exposure with the bright back lit water, but was pleased with these few hope you enjoy them, I was over the moon with meeting him. doc Edited August 30, 2011 by docholiday

Dunkield
Great pictures of my favourite bird [insert obvious gag here] Sadly I found a dead one recently, it had flown into a window if it hadn't been there for a while I would have had it stuffed. FalconFN
Well done (again!). Someone said that you were lucky to get those shots - You sat in a hide all day with top equipment and captured a small and jittery bird in tricky lighting conditions - more skill than luck I think . Top stuff. If the sun a bit brighter those pictures would easily be high enough quality for the cover of any bird/wildlife magazine out there. Do you sell to stock picture librarys? If not, you should. Edited August 31, 2011 by FalconFN
