OK so setting aside the Sex, bad language, blood, guts, gore and general unadulterated violence of your average 18 rated film whats your favourite three Films which you would make a point of watching if they came on the box Sunday evening, and please dont say Saving Private Ryan.

Mine are;

1. Lawrence of Arabia. (Possibly the greatest Film ever made.)

2. Room with a View (I just love E. M. Forsters Novels)

3. Out of Africa (theres something special about the Cinematography and sound track )

1) Shawshank Redemption - Don't know why. It's just addictive

2) Midnight Express

3) I want to say The Shining because it's brilliant up to the point where I stop watching it because I get frightened. Never seen it all the way through. I will one day when I man up. :blush:

1. Secondhand Lions, with Michael Caine and Robert Duvall

2. French Connection, with Gene Hackmann

3. (A cheat here) All three extended versions of Lord of the Rings, played as one film back-to-back, with my feet up on the sofa, a bottle of red, and a whole day to waste. I do this about twice a year, especially if it is a really cold and **** day.

Oh and any other film I like at the time, of course - list goes on for ever :good:
