the best shotgun shell 12g

Alrite lads, Put a good few thousand shells through me Beretta 682 gold e shooting crows maggies and pidgeons have tryed most shotgun shell brands but by far the best ive found is ROTTWEIL SPECIAL 32F No 6 in 70MM they drop pidgeons crows rooks out at crazy distances just wondered what shells you like

At the moment i'm shooting rottweill 36g size 8 (german), They hit like a train and only cost £90 per thousand!

i personally like 28gram Gamebore Super Game shot size 6 I dropped my first ever pheasant with one so i have got to stick with them

I use ROTTWEIL 36 gram 6.5 and you can see by the BIG bags we have they are the dog's nuts.

 

"Pillow cases", and at good ranges. Stone dead.

rotwel are in a bit of a short supply round here so i stick with express super game 32g 5s and 6s

I also shoot rotties at the moment 30 HV MKII's but at the end of the day if you put the shot string from any fired cartridge in the correct place you are going to kill the bird. But if a particular cartridge, gun, choke combination gives you greater confidence in your kills then great.

This is the result after using Rotweill special 32 no 6 they smash pidgeons and crows easy out to 55 yards "pillow cases is right". This bag is my mate and me from last summer on a farm in Porthcawl South Wales sweet.

i personaly use lyalvale super game 32g no5 with a full choke for ground game but providing your a half decent shot will handle that what flys aswell but is less forgiving than a more open choke , i find that this is a good alrounder and cycles well in al my semi's

Just to even it up a bit, I use Eley HB Pigeon, 32g, 6.5s. Works for me.

I had some blue diamond, i found that many birds kept flying on and dropping meters away because of the diamond shot in them, i only rate them for clays.

I have been using hull soverign fitasc 28g 7s and would recomend these, although they are a clay cartaridge they are one of the best in my opinion with open chokes i have consistiantly killed pigeons at silly ranges over 35 yards.

they are expensive and you pay about £135 for 1000 but its worth having a go with them.

you shoot birds with number 8 shot ?? isnt that a little small for them, 6's for birdys 8's for clays .
