Paddy Galore!
this recession isn't making things any easier for us mate, shooting is'nt much more than an expensive hobby for most.
sitsinhedges
Well I seem to manage selling OK you just have to be realistic about prices. Did struggle shifting my Jimny before xmas but everything will sell at the right price, and I'm kind of glad to still have that it got me to work in some pretty rubbish weather. Cranfield
A lot of the items in the Trading Post are sold with no note to this effect appearing on the thread. Most Buyers make the contact by PM and the deal is done.

team tractor
I'm a firm believer in market forces. Everything can be sold if it is correctly priced. Wrong . Things sell if you want to get ripped off . I've no need to sell but the cash would be nice buuttttt when people make stupid offers I'm not interested in loosing money.. our prices at work have risen as were rammed but the general building has gone down
Dibs
Its a slow time of year according to a couple of dealers and Feb, March are quiet months. I have a Zoli on there at 400 under the going rate for what it would be in the summer and mate has a good priced 682 and some responses but not the usual for what are underpriced guns. Muddy Funker
Some of the prices listed here for guns are laughable, that might be a reason why also? You also see it on gun trader, why on earth would anyone spend in excess of £300 on an old CZ when you can buy one new for £350? You also see it on gun trader, why on earth would anyone spend in excess of £300 on an old CZ when you can buy one new for £350? i must agree! theres some realy silly prices going around! folk want to be getting a good deal at the moment! some guns for example have a value of £1000 and yes thats what you should be selling at but folk will sooner part with cash say if they were saving £100 and getting it for £900 good deals are the way at the moment! Dibs
Also about supply and demand. But think thats out the window at the moment as well. Ive sold a few guns privately over the last year and sold them pretty much straight away. I do my research then price them so they are the cheapest usually. But it is really quiet at the moment but will pick up.
Big Al
Wrong . Things sell if you want to get ripped off . I've no need to sell but the cash would be nice buuttttt when people make stupid offers I'm not interested in loosing money.. our prices at work have risen as were rammed but the general building has gone down As I said, I believe in market forces to get the right price ( the right price is the fairest price for buyer and seller.) Underpricing is as bad as overpricing.
njc110381
I sold my shotgun fairly quickly not all that long ago and made a small profit on it. Obviously the seller and buyer want a good deal but if nobody buys your item after a good time it's often a hint that you may be asking a little much.
